Im trying to submit a url for sponsored search results but yahoo denies the listing claiming it's a "gambling url". the site has nothing to do with gambling, it's just a link to download a free video game.
is there any way to contest it?

Is the video game a GAMBLING video game? Just curious.....

Okay I sent them an email, hopefully I won't get an empty generic response.
None of this is making any sense to me.. weird.

Something similar happened to me a few days ago, I submitted 800+ changes where all i changed was the URL from xyz.com/1 to xyz.com/2, the numbers are just trackers we use and was just changing those to a new tracker number. These ads have been running fine for months. They denied all the changes with no reason, no email back yet, I said fuck that, and dropped all my ads on them for that category of widgets. This is why we don't use them or MSN, hard to use interfaces and they suck, too bad as they are missing out on the money.

yeah it's completely stupid because half my offers are being denied but they are all for the same url.. wtf? Unfortunately I cant drop them the same way you did because I still have about $200 of credit in my account

Just spoke on the phone with them, they're going to resubmit all my listings to a senior editor to determine whether or not the site really is gambling.
They found some small bit on the site that let's my visitors add money to their accounts, and they're using this as basis for classifying the entire site as gambling.

That sucks...man there pretty strict:mad: I think they should let you go hopefully....like to hear the outcome!

I think Yahoo has editors in India or something, they do really dumb stuff and sometimes you have to complain to get it fixed.
