I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this broad drop in the earnings per click on YPN. Here are my daily average EPCs over more than a hundred niches, starting a couple weeks ago with the last value being yesterday's (Feb 5th) average:

$0.61 $0.65 $0.66 $0.65 $0.56 $0.69 $0.68 $0.72 $0.75 $0.65 $0.63 $0.72 $0.53 $0.57 $0.55 $0.63 $0.59 $0.58 $0.63 $0.73 $0.56 $0.59 $0.62 $0.59 $0.52 $0.51 $0.48 $0.46 $0.43 $0.42 $0.45

This is for over a hundred arbi niches. At first I thought it might be because of a change in my ratio of cheap niche traffic to expensive niche traffic, but it's not. That ratio hasn't really changed, and the same trend shows up in the numbers for many individual niches -- starting about a week ago the EPC dropped by 50% or more.

I was hoping the new ranking model yesterday would have some effect, but they don't seem to be sharing any benefits with the publishers.

Anyone else seeing this?

The last few days my Y! returns have been pretty bad... Not sure if its just a blip or something thats going to remain. It's only been the past 3-4 days though, as last thursday was actually my highest day yet, and last wednesday was about average. I haven't noticed much change in the way of the new ranking model though, as traffic yesterday was roughly the same as it had been the days before.

I just switched some Google ads for YPN because I recently got an account and wanted to see how YPN performs for us. Holy crap they are doing SO badly. Across the same period (the last 4 days), the CTR and eCPM with Yahoo is horrid. I am totally shocked, I though the CTR might be lower, but earnings might be slightly higher based on what I have been told. Wrongo.
