Remote Access to your computer

The built in Windows Remote Assistance in win 7 is fucking awesome. I was trying to help my uncle with his PC over the phone... eventually I had enough and had to do it for him so I asked him to open Windows Remote Assistance, all he had to do was click 'allow someone to help me' he gave me a unique code, I typed in the code and it connected me up and straight away it was working. Didn't have to install anything, sign up to anything, mess with router port forwarding etc.
Another win for microsoft. I do actually use VNC though for accessing my PC from my iphone.

I like logmein over vnc because if I have to get access to someone's machine over the phone, I just email them a download link and within a couple minutes I can be on their desktop. With vnc, I usually have to explain to people what an IP address is and end up telling them to bring their shit over.
Someone I work with was on the phone the other day for about an hour trying to get the person on the other end to set up netmeeting; it would have been quicker to just drive to their house.

I like logmein. It is simple for others to install if I need to help them with something remotely. I can access my computers remotely using only a web browser or I can access my computers from my android phone.
