Just make a quick post of your "nick" if you think the new 7search criteria are total BS and you plan on not using them until they change back. Maybe when they realize how many people they are losing they'll realize they are outcasting their core advertisers.

I'll start...

Don't you think they already know?? It's not as if they made the decision to shut out arbitrage just on a whim...

7Search is a "Premier" sponsor for SES NY in April. They're probably trying to build some legitimacy by putting out the trash.

I am not sure how they can possibly figure that they can compete with a 1st tier seach engine...

Most of their traffic comes from affilates that have basically MF7spam, spammed all over the major search engines.

You guys are fools... How long has 7search been around? Sure its all spam and crap. They've probably seen a recent rise in revenue i'm sure. Found and read what was going on. Its not in a companies best interest to promote arbitrage 1.0. They're not going anywhere in the near future. So they got alot of cash for 2-3 months and now they're back to normal.

Go off and use another PPC program. Just stay away from searchfeed at all costs.

i dont even get how 7search works. are all their results sponsored? do they have a indexing spider or anything?

i know they have an ads that get displayed on other sites... i think...

Lol, spidering? It's pay per rank... pay more, rank higher :)

I figure 7spam traffic converts as well as it does because if your dumb enough to look for something on a page that is just spam links, you're probably likely to click an ad on my arbitrage site when you arrive.

I just typed a long ass response and then deleted it. Mostly because it's not worth arguing. The point is, 7search had a strong corner on arbitrage advertisers - THAT is how you make money. Now they are just some subpar advertising network that sends shit traffic to your websites. You can't compete with google... at least not now... focus on your niche which is shit traffic and monetize it. Or... go ahead.... be stupid

Like I said in the other thread, the fact that they worded their policy change poorly to exclude any site running contextual ads and then changed it the next day after the meaning of the wording was pointed out on this forum, indicates that they didn't think it through carefully but are acting based on some sort of knee-jerk impulse.

If they had really spent a lot of time on careful deliberation, I'm sure the wording wouldn't have been so bad the first time around.

No, that just means they got some wording wrong in conveying what they intended. The fact that they didn't remove the arbitrage policy even after all the complaints in this forum shows that it was far from a knee-jerk reaction.
