ipad is only good if you travel a lot and have to reply to emails or you have to show your product at summits n stuff... otherwise its useless

i'll go in for another mac book pro if i was you...! best laptops ever!

I'd avoid Acer and Vaio they seem to slow down alot after a few months use.

Highly recommend Toshiba Satellite, my last one lasted me 4 years.
