Nothing Can Be Explained
Alright so I was doing a deposit at my bank and the lady said if I wanted to get this weird savings account that's free and i was like why would i want that if I already got one??? SHe said the difference is that this one gives you $1 for everytime you use your debit and puts it into your savings and it also has a 5% interest in the savings which is higher than any CD they have. Offer ends Nov 5th then it will only be 3%. So take advantage now if you got wachovia/wells fargo cause 5% is a good deal

Holy shit, 5% is unreal. If I didn't have everything personal, business, mortgage etc. with BofA, I'd switch in a second.

5% in savings? I think you must have misunderstood her... I would bet it's .05%

You can't find a 1-yr CD rate above 1.5% in today's environment.

I'm pretty sure she said 5%, I told her to repeat like 4 times cause I was like "period zero five?" she was like no "five percent" lolol :bowdown::bowdown:

I used to have a savings account that gave me 5% at Washington Mutual but I haven't seen anywhere with rates that good since the start of the recession.

Yeah oyu see people! Tomorrow is the last day so take advantage and call Wachovia, they aren't advertising it in any way though unless you go there. They also give you $1 everytime you use your debit card :D.

This is probably what you get.

Up to $500.99 is 3%, lol

I have that shit already, there is just under $1000 in it so far.

you bastards w/ wachovia on the east coast only get this special I guess, my wachovia accounts were converted over to wells last year.

I'd take a flight just to take advantage of this though, are there any maximums you can hold in the account?

Ok, I knew this was too good to be true and there would be a catch. This is what I found.

You can’t just deposit money at will into the Way-2-Save savings account. In order to get money into it, you can: (1) deposit up to $100 a month directly, (2) automatically have $1 moved from your attached checking account into the Way-2-Save account for each debit card purchase, online billpay transaction, or other debit deductions.

Lots of discussion about this over at Fatwallet.

A whopping $100 bones a month deposit allowed up to a $300 balance ... ballin. lol.
