Geologists And Tech Industry Leaders Fear Real Life StarCraft Wars Imminent

I can't find the article but we found vital rare minerals in a giant reserve in Afghanistan. If we want it that bad, we'll get them.

I read once that the US actually has a shit ton of rare earth metals, its just really non-environmentally friendly to mine them and since china has no problems with fucking up the environment most of the mines here closed. I'm sure its just like manufacturing in that costs are way higher here due to regulation and wages than china anyways.

Diamonds are artificially valuable. I am sure some of these "rare" metals are in the same boat

you don't see a problem with using a PER CAPITA measurement in this case?

I believe this is the article you were looking for: List of countries by carbon dioxide emissions - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have seen that article but actually, no. I see a problem with ranking by countries.

To say that would be saying Chinese people somehow don't deserve to live like people in the west. You know washing machines, tvs, computers (those "basic needs") all run on electricity. You're criticizing China for being the most environmentally unfriendly even though per person it is really doing better than the US and most of the "green" countries out there.

You know people from poorer countries also strive to live a better life. In fact they work harder for less. I never understood why americans bash poorer countries. For some reason it's wrong for the rest of the world to also have big houses, flat screen tvs, computers, ipods...

I'm not saying there's no room for improvement. If you've ever been to beijing you'd know that you can't see a blue sky past 10am. But China doesn't need the constant BS from the haters and beyond hating retards like hellblazer. FYI the Chinese government does more than the US government to be green (because it needs to). Factories and plants constantly get forced to shutdown because of pollution since the Chinese gov can do what ever they want (you could say that's unfair for businesses but that's another topic) and they spend huge amounts money and effort into environmental projects. Fast-Growing China Consumed Less Energy Than U.S. Last Year, Xinhua Says - Bloomberg, China Spends More on Clean Energy than the U.S. - Technology Review And since the media is controlled by the gov, the constant spamming pretty much brainwashes people to be environmentally conscience.

So stop hatin.
