LOL, I knew this was going to happen. The best thing to do with a game is wait to buy it until people tell you have to. Especially with FPS.
It's alright. I'm so used to MW2, and I thought that was a real solid game. This one has its goods and bads. Not really impressed with the graphics though.
This is 2x better than modern warfare.. seriously.. The biggest complaint i've heard was people complaining because either they can't rack up crappy kills real fast (a la modern warfare where u can have the nuke within the first 60 seconds of a match), or bitching because they die too fast (guns don't do as much damage for regular body shots, head shots are almost always insta-kill).

I'm almost finished with the single player and it is a good story. A better story than mw2.
What is strange is the graphics on multiplayer suck but the single player graphics look as good as mw2. Multiplayer graphics are kinda cartoonish and the guns don't feel as solid as mw2. Oh well.

I keep hearing about terrible lag issues with PC, which is why I haven't bought it yet. I'll wait until they release the first update...probably later this week.
When I first played it midnight, it was very bad in terms of freezing/lag spikes, but played it a bit earlier and it seems to have gotten better. But there are still issues they need to fix via a patch, you'll always have that I guess. Overall once the FPS/freeze issues are fixed and the game runs smooth, it'll be really fun overall.
I've been dicking around in the single player and the graphics aren't bad, but the weapons don't have the realism like they do in MW. They don't sound right or something. I tried to get on PS3 multi, but the servers were down. Probably a sign of things to come.
I just finished my 6th Free For All game; and on a pretty good note. Went 30-12. I like the game, and a lot of the annoying things from MW2 have been removed. It's great to finally play without getting tubed or command'od. Right now, my most beast setup is MP5K with Sleight of Hand. The game before this one, I came in 2nd place.
The maps are alright, and don't look that great. But they are small, and there is always a lot of action. Which I love. I hated shit like wasteland.
So for the gameplay, I would say it's great. But the graphics do seem a bit on the weak side; after a few games though, I got used to it.

Damn, the dogs are fucking crazy. It's like the Pavelow on steroids. In this last game I just got them from the care package, and they got me about 10 kills. Ended up winning at 28-8. People are playing pretty dumb right now; everyone has their eyes glued to their UV for the red dot. So as long as your smart after killing someone, you can always kill the people that saw your dot easily.
Multiplayer on Playstation Network is jittery as fuck. I don't think it's my connection, because I never had a problem on MW. Sometimes it gets so damn slow you're almost running in slow motion. Kills seem a little harder to come by as you definitely need to be more accurate to take them down with one shot. No more melee's from 30 feet is nice too. Sick of getting killed by some guy swingin his knife around from 2 blocks over.
Hmmm, efeezy, I haven't ran into that problem yet. It seems really smooth for me most of the time. One problem I have experienced is that when the network connection stuff comes up, it throws everyone out of the game. That seems to happen about every 5th game or so for me, which is pretty annoying.
To me the gameplay feels a lot like MW2. I can't really complain about the "feel" of the game.
The downside is that for some reason some of the maps do look pretty old school. I'm not sure if they ported over maps from Urban Terror (a Quake 3 Mod) back in the day or what... several of the maps look good though.
