5 years ago, a friend used to own a lan shop. That one day, shop was closed and 5 of us were still in there playing cs and no one use the washroom but something weird happened in there. The sink tap was opened to full blast, flooded the washroom, we went in and turned off the tap, we make damn sure we shut it tight. After that, it happened twice again on the same day and the day after. Nothing unusual the day before. We were quite convinced. About three weeks later he sold the shop.

Ghosts and the paranormal are a great niche and besides, as an older guy I sure as hell hope there's something beyond the Internet and Glenn Beck! Maybe like a another Woodstock.
I ROFL every time I hear someone like Fat Tom or Good Deal talk about their experience that made them believe in ghosts... And they never even saw one!
If you told me that you saw a ghostly apparition by the sink or refridgerator, then I wouldn't try to laugh at you... At least you'd have a link between ghosts and those odd things happening then.

It's one of those questions where if you've personally experienced something even slightly related to ghosts or the paranormal anyone who hasn't generally won't believe you and think you're nuts (even though they might not admit this).
I can with 100% certainty say I have had a bad experience with demons which I wouldn't exactly call ghosts but they are similar in nature and have spoken to others who have as well thanks to fucking around with the ouija board. I'd share my experience but I know half of the posters here will think I'm fucking nuts. Just take my word for it, don't EVER play with the ouija board. I learned my lesson the hard way - and for those non-believers that think it's just a game (yes that was me too one time) I warned you but I won't feel bad for you if some stupid shit happens if you try it, at least I'll be able to say I told you so

I do believe in these.
Ghosts exist, period. Atheists are hard to convince without showing scientific evidence (makes me LOL) but they are among the firsts to fall like a house of cards once it happens to them. So they won't agree, until they get the experience.
I used to but I no longer do. The reason is simple: our minds are the channel through which we have these experiences. We can't trust our brains to tell us the truth.
We can however trust video footage and other things that are picking up actual occurrences. To this day I've never seen a convincing/trust worthy enough photo or video to say definitively that ghosts are real though.

We planned to do that, just to ask what "he" wants, why "he" chose stay here and tell "him" to leave. Oh well, good that we didn't just do that.
I'm an atheist, yet I still believe in the paranormal. I've had many unexplained experiences from a very early age. I don't think the existence of some sort of afterlife necessitates a God.
Like others have said, it's pretty laughable to talk about "ghosts," and until you experience something truly remarkable, you will never believe. And I can't blame you.
The OUIJA board is one of the biggest scams ever designed. Imagine the factory and machines making this game, and it sitting on conveyor belts as it's shipped to your local store where you buy it, and play it, and say "I've released the demons! AHH"

No never bought it. Just so happened a friend had one and if he didn't it's not so hard to draw a few letters on a piece of cardboard.
Obviously there's something to it.
Again if you haven't experienced what I or anyone else did when it comes to something that's paranormal it's going to be nearly impossible to convince you. I know what I experienced was real. That's not too hard to understand is it?
I'd share my story with someone if they were interested but there's too much cougarclaws type mindsets in here. I'm not a fucking nut. In fact, for that reason it makes me believe even more in what I experienced because I can't say to myself "dude you're crazy and belong in a nut house".
M0rtal, please explain in detail what happened, I'm genuinely interested in that shit.
