I got all excited when I saw that Jessica Alba finally dropped the pretence of being a serious actress and shed her clothes for a part:
Then I found out it's just a CGI trick.
I don't even care anything about seeing Jessica Alba naked. She lost my interest when she lost that sexy pudgy thing she had going, so ... when she was 16 or so. But I wish that Miss Alba would shit or get off the pot with this nudity thing, because in the last five years she has played:
A stripper who does not take off her clothes,
A sexy Bohemian beachcomber living the good life with a sexy Boheminan beachcomber boyfriend, who spends an awful lot of time fucking and swimming around in the Caribbean, but never naked.
A prostitute who is okay with being beaten and strangled with a belt, but not with frontal nudity.
Who knows what else -- I try not to see anything she taints. I just can't help but wonder what hot naked chicks would have otherwise been in these parts if it hadn't been for Alba screwing it up. That, plus I find it astonishing that she can say with a straight face that she'll take the purely-eye-candy parts with no depth at all to them, where her sole function in the film is literally to look pretty and sell tickets (eg. almost any part she's had, ever, in her entire career) but she won't do nudity based on some weird concept of conservative morals. I mean, if she were truly concerned with her image, she should lay off the twirling lassos, spankings, strangings, gratuitous down-bikini swimming shots etc. that have been paying her rent since she turned legal.
