hi,

I have been scammed on here a few times, but each time when I pay them with paypal i don't choose the service options I choose the sales option, so when I need to file a dispute i would just claim that I didn't recieve the item. The seller has no way to fight this unless they show tracking #.

So this is just some help for you guys to do in the future against these scams.

This is good to know. Thank goodness that I never got around to paying Andersonjack. I was close to paying him but I was too busy to send him details. I hope you all get your money back.

Just got off the phone with Paypal. Mixed "reviews" (sorry about the pun). I too chose the "goods" option, but during the phone call I explained that I purchased advertising (text links) and didn't get the service done. The rep said this wasn't tangible good, it was a service and Paypal Buyer Complaint Policy only covers tangible goods, not services. He even send me a follow-up email that stated this. I noticed the seller (andivio) responded in his comments that this was a service and not goods. Might have been better NOT to call and reveal that this was for a service. (Just make demands thru the online dispute system that you didn't receive your goods like what neynme suggested.).

Paypal also said if the claims rate goes over 5% for a seller, they cancel his/her account regardless of whether there was any fraud or not. Paypal just doesn't want to deal with such a pain-in-the-arse seller with so many claims. The only problem here, the rep said, was that Andivio has less than a 5% dispute/claims rate. So I told the rep it's probably becuase the bulk of his business is in sports betting and he runs a sports betting site (as listed in the seller's details on paypal) . That raised a red flag with the paypal rep. He said paypal doesn't approve of any transactions that involved gamnbling/betting, so they will be investigating his account regarding this matter.

I'm calling my credit card company tomorrow (monday). It didn't sound as though paypal's going to refund the charges, especially now that they know it was for a service.

Oh, btw, he said to use this email if you want to send details: complaint-response@paypal.com
I just sent an email to it and got back an automated resposne saying the email was recieved and the complaints department will look into it.(I already started the process. might as well finish it). So this email address works.

I sent an email to complaint-response@paypal.com as well.

My status on paypal does say they included my phone call.

I bet this clowns account get nailed.

Let's hope so. Ironic really. If his acct gets nailed, it probably wasn't just due to the scams he pulled here, but in the claims process he also brought all this attention to his bread and butter biz (sports betting). :D When you make the disputes/claims, see if you can mention that it was a regrettable choice to have ever purchased anything from someone who runs a sports betting site.

I hope you all get your money back. This guy pushed out 3 different services almost within the same day, and the price got better and better. That was what kept me from buying from this guy, just seems like he was in for a quick hitter.

I just got the same reply back from from AndersonJack when I asked where my report was -- "It has been sent to the email you provided."

Even though I haven't received a thing from himyet.

SCAMS are increasing like crazy around here! NOT good for this market.

I filed a claim at paypal and he (douchbag) responded that he sent it to me and it was a service instead of a product. The paypal rep asked me if it was tangible product. I replied am expecting a physical report with work done to spec. And still have not received such either by fax or email. If we are going to split hairs - we'll see. I will make sure there is never much of a balance in my paypal account and do everything now on with the credit card.

Yeah, the thing I'm so reminded in this whole process is how much paypal is a seller-oriented setup. Protecting the seller even if it means protecting a**holes like andivio10. Regarding paying via credit cards, make sure you DON'T ever link it to your bank acct. I remember years ago when I linked my debit/credit card to a bank acct. In fact, I clearly remember paypal insisting thru various pop-ups,etc, about how wonderful this is, that it'll "certify" my acct and make transactions smoother, giving me extra layer of "protection". The problem with this is, when you pay directly thru your bank acct, you get none of the protections that a regular credit card provides. The so-called debit/credit card protection becomes moot. No ability to obtain chargebacks from your credit card issuer (which is your bank) since it's now a direct bank payment. The only recourse you have is thru the paypal dispute system (and we know what's that like). I believe the first 4 numbers of a debit/credit card is unique to debit/credit cards and paypal immediately picks up on this and insists on backing it with your bank acct that the debit card is tied into. This effectively strips any buyer protection you have with that card since it's now a bank withdrawal. So whatever you do, never ever set up your paypal payments that way, or at least refuse to ever tie in our debit/credit card with your bank acct (even though paypal will insist on it theu various pop-ups, etc). If you do you'll just get screwed. Fucking paypal....extra layer of protection my ass. Extra layer of protection for the seller (in this case the scammer) while doing everything in their power to strip away the protection of the buyer.

Ugh. Ok, I've given this guy plenty of time to get back to me and he has now gone AWOL.

Going to file a PayPal dispute right now.

Anyone have any luck with Paypal yet?

Havent heard back from PP yet, and they extended their "investigation" date in my case to Nov. 1st from October 19th. I would bet that they got hammered with claims against this idiot and are trying to sort it all out.

I have to disagree with the five dollar minimum payment as many of you know i am an ocsioinal seller who is always happy to hit the refund button, and its a little inconvient to have to pay 5- 10 dollars to sell. Rather I suggest a post minimun of 50-100 with 1-2 free reviews to trusted members.

AndersonJack up yours you dog buggering, smegma eater
