A sport actually worth watching

Okay, so I pretty much hate sports with a passion. I don't play them, I don't watch them. But this is something I would actually watch. Fucking hardcore if you ask me.

I'm from Malaysia and used to be good at this.

But I hated the Jock aspect of it and it was a racist sport. i.e: the minorities don't play and were never welcome.

Good spectator sport though if you don't mind the almost invisible ball.

looks to me like every single round lasts about 2-3 seconds, then everyone waits while they pull the ball out of the hole in the drywall, reset and do the same thing over again. I'm willing to bet the team on defense blocks that ball maybe 25% of the time.

Agreed.

One might be initially amazed by the acrobatics involved with the kicking...beyond that, which is entertaining for about 10 seconds...seems pretty boring.

People play it here in the States. I played when I was in my teens. I was decent at best. It's really fun when you play it. Fast-flying rattan ball to the head hurts if it's your first time playing - LOL.

I used to play it all the time in Thailand, super popular there. Never won a single game playing against the Thais but that's to be expected. Getting that rattan ball kicked into your face is about as enjoyable as a borax handjob.
