Google Page Rank Update Expected to Be Sometime This Week or Next Week! :o



oh how I long for the days when life was simple.. when the idea of a pagerank update was exciting and meant something; even if that something was actually nothing
 
for the love of fuck everyone, just because the toolbar hasn't updated doesn't mean your PR is still 0. Google probably realized that the only people using the toolbar PR were people looking to game the system so they have slowed down the public facing updates. Internally, they're constantly resetting your PR based on their private factors
 
Wasn't the last update in April?! Thought they were phasing it out.

For every site I have made since that time it has been very difficult to exchange relevant links with the PR being stuck at 0. If it jumped to 3 or 4 or something tomorrow I could easily get the links that I need, which would be beneficial to ranking. Plus if you wanna sell links, or sell your site... PR still makes a big difference.

I've never understood why Google share this information on one hand and then bitch people out about selling/buying links to manipulate rankings on the other.

It empowers sellers by providing this information and give buyers a sense of value for money as they know what the PR of a site is. If they did away with PR (except internally) how would this have a negative impact on anyone doing what they don't want them to do?

OP is also blatantly being promotional. Not that I give a shit but c'mon, it's a bit obvious.
 
wow. shameless plug. your site is a POS. No webmaster gives an F what their pagerank is unless they are selling links
