Bears -vs- Packers

Packers fans like to cite all the penalties in that game as a reason for the loss, like the officials were just out to get them that day. The simple fact is, we were CAUSING you guys to commit a lot of them. The holds, false starts etc were largely due to Peppers and Company making your oline cheat to hang w/ them. PS> The Bears are playing waaay better than we were earlier in the season. I would totally take the bet if I was certain we would play the starters the entire game and go balls out.

We almost beat the Pats with a rookie backup QB, a team that trounced on the Bears this year. The Packers are playing much better football, even with 6 starters on IR and another 10-12 banged up every other week. Regardless of whether it means anything standings wise or not, it's the best rivalry in football, and both teams are equipped to put on a show.

Good luck... :)

You're an idiot. Even though I'm from Chicago and hate Green Bay, it's pretty obvious we're going to lose. No one on the Bears cares whether or not they win whereas the Packers need a win.

To justify my point, let's take a look at Vegas odds. Currently, the Packers are 9.5 point favorites which is -450 on the moneyline. That means that the Packers have a 81.8% chance of winning according to Vegas.

Using that number, it's safe to say that Jason just hustled you for $81.80. Now before you go on and bitch about how you have faith in the Bears, and it's about the principle and not the money, let's look at if the Bears actually win.

In that scenario Jason will gladly send you $100, after which you'll probably brag to family members and fellow WF fags about how you knew the Bears were going to win. But what you fail to realize is that Vegas would have paid you out $450, meaning that you would be economically losing $350.

With that said, hope you enjoy the game. Next time just remember to stop fucking around when it comes to money.

Lolz...

Number one, I'm not in Vegas, cockbreath, and if I was, I wouldn't wager anyways. I'll leave it up to geniuses like you to try and beat that house.

But here's what you didn't know about me before you opened your gaping idiot-hole: I live in a very wealthy North Shore suburb of Chicago, and regularly break bread and cocktail with Bears players and coaches. My kid goes to JRHS with their kids.

I assure you, fucko, news-whore "analysis" to the contrary, the consensus across the organization is that it would be FAR easier to crush the Pack now as opposed to later in the PO's when virtually ANYTHING can happen.

True, they are not going to take stupid chances with their starters, but I have it on very good authority that it WILL be a contest, so...We'll See.

And yeah, even with all that, it IS about the principle, and if I lose a chump-change hondo in a friendly wager with a pal on WF so what?

I'll be sitting in Mickey Finn's chowing on Irish egg rolls and slurping down winter wheat ale while he freezes his ASS off on the shores of Green Bay with a hot dog.

I win even if I lose imho- So Eat Me. :p

^^ Sounds like someone's a little butt hurt.

Oh yeah, pics or it didn't happen.

It's been a looong time since the Lions didn't finish in last in the division - thank you Minnesota for having a worse division record.

The timeout where the Bears would have picked up the first was also priceless.

That was a little "sensitive" wasn't it, lol. Sorry, Kenny...

I don't know what the fuck's wrong with me lately- maybe I need a bff, or my meds changed up. :p

Whatever, that was an excellent game, and but for a few bad calls and plays could have easily gone the other way. The D's were dominant and like I heard, the Bears came to play, although there WAS a bit of coasting I saw going on. Fucking Hester not going up for that last pick pissed me off a bit.

Basically, we got beat by a superior O-Line. That was the only glaring difference I saw- fucking sack-o-rama, otherwise it was a pretty good match-up.

Props to the Pack for a quality show.

Jason? Your PayPal?

:xmas-smiley-016:

Where was the holding call? Bears would've had a TD had it not been for that
Refs could call a holding penalty on every play. The Bears didn't lose because of ONE call. Cutler was getting raped because the O-line was shit like they normally are.

I like the last column the most but the points differential (-7 or -.4375 per game) after being at least minus 200 (-12.5 or more) the last three seasons is the strongest indicator that Schwartz and crew are getting this shit turned around and quick. The only thing this team needed was to learn how to win (plus a shutdown corner, a couple OL guys and some LBers that could stay healthy) and finishing the season with 4 in a row, 2 on the road is huge.

Enjoy your playoffs, Bears and Packer fans, next year the division title comes thru Ford Field. Vikings fans, you're fucked. Aging D, aging OL, at least Webb has potential to not suck like a 41 year old croc wearing, cock texting washed up has been.

Well that and because Cutler just sucks. Let's not forget how many where calling him out as a bust around mid season, then the guy finally has a couple decent games and people can't get off his nuts.
