Goldman Invests in Facebook at $50 Billion Valuation



Since it isn't publicly traded i don't see how this is the dotcom bust just yet.
 
They got traffic, a ridiculously low bounce rate, and high levels of user interaction. And they're going after search. It'll look like a steal 10 years from now.
 
It's the most visited website in the world, and has more private information on people than every other site on the Internet combined - how is that an inflated price? How much would you value owning a person's online identity at?
 
It is just a fad. I give it 3 months tops :p

seriously 50Bil is a drop in the ocean for the potential marketing information let lone the benefits it offers to its users.
