Jets - Patriots

I think the Jets shot their load they were so up for that game. Now they have to go in to Pittsburgh and deal with a downright nasty defense. On the other side, hard to believe the Bears have only played the Packers one time in the playoffs...how is that possible? The oldest rivalry in all of football and the last time they met in the playoffs was 70 years ago? Can't fucking wait.

Simply put the Patriots have been a dominate force in football for the last decade. Now that's not a reason enough to want them to lose, it's the cold military style precision of Bill Belichick (AKA "The Hoodie"). They are generally heartless, run up the game score the best they can, and have zero personality. Wes Walker making subtle foot jokes about Rex Ryan was about the Patriot equivalent of kidnapping Rex Ryan and t-bagging him, and then filming it and releasing it onto the interwebs for free.

Oh yeah they also got busted taping other teams, look up spygate. It is widely believed that is how they won so many Super Bowls in such a short time frame.

The Pats were afraid of blitzing on every play, but the Steelers won't make that mistake. Sanchez is thrown off his game easily when he's on his ass every other down; as we learned in the Jets 45-3 loss to the Pats on December 6th.

Jets already beat them this season in Pittsburgh. :thumbsup:
 
I was ok with the Patriots for many years and cheered hard for them in their first Super Bowl win over the Rams. Since the spygate issue and the undefeated regular season, I have been turned off by them. Its not their winning as much as their attitude towards winning. They ran up the score in nearly every game during their 16-0 run, that's bad karma that will eventually bite you in the azz. It did. they lost the Super Bowl that season. Now, instead of being the greatest team of all time, they are simply the only team to go undefeated during a 16 game season and yet loose the Super Bowl. Karma bit 'em. But Karma was not done, the very first game following their 18-1 season, their best player and leader, Tom Brady was injured and out for the season. Karma at work again. Despite loosing Tom Brady, the Pats went 11-5 that season and yet missed the playoffs. That's hard to do.. but Karma finds joy in it. The next year, the Pats get blown out in their playoff game, at home no doubt. Karma must not be done. And now this year, the Pats resemble a team went 16-0 during the regular season a few years back. They take the best record in the league into the playoffs and are everyones pick to win the Super Bowl. Crap, someone forgot to tell Karma that the Pats had paid their dues... a third straight playoff loss!

Until the Patriots accept responsibilty and own up to spygate and until they start respecting other teams in the league, Karma will continue to bite them in the azz...
