Scariest film you've ever seen?

What I posted in the old thread:
[Rec], The Descent and Blair With are by far the three scariest movies I've ever seen. Do yourself a big favor and do not watch the American remake of [Rec]: Quarantine.

Also really scary are High Tension/Haute Tension and Inside/À l'interieure. Two french horror movies. I had to stop Inside after 25 minutes because I couldn't take it anymore. Too scary. I will resume watching when I have the guts to do so :)

And I can add Paranormal Activity to that list, pretty scary stuff too.

The Blair Witch Project is one of the only horror films that genuinely freaked me out.

Completely agree. Most "horror" films rely on gore and making you jump, which of course isn't actually scary. The Blair Witch Project genuinely scared me because it lets your mind do the work.

Been lurking around the BWP3 page for a while now, but there hasn't been any updates for a while even though it is due for this year. It is the original guys (Myrick/Sanchez) doing it this time and not that Berlinger turd who made the Book of Shadows (what a clusterfuck that was).:)

WATCH

I don't understand movies with little kids as the "scary" character, I'd just kick a kid in the face...

My favorite horror movie: the original Amityville Horror 2

Not so much scary per se, but if you're looking to experience that panicky, WTF, delusional sense of loss and anxiety, check out Frozen (2010). Had to watch it in stages...

If you're into video games check out Amnesia: The Dark Descent... You will literally shit your pants.

Anytime I see compound fractures or broken bones sticking out through skin I freak out. Fuck Frozen.

Paranormal activity was pretty good. Starts off slow as fuck, but if you liked the Blair Witch, you'd probably like it.

I just made my gf watch "Knowing" with Nick Cage. It wasn't really that scary, but it creeped the shit out of her and we had to sleep with the bathroom light on.
