I use a mediocre idiot but really need a good accountant fast, trustworthiness being the most important quality. Hell I'm even considering arranged marrying some hot accountant bitch here in India.

But seriously, I'll probably do it myself. Maths & money are just too important to trust anyone else with.

Sorry I didn't mean taxes. I don't care much for taxes (yet) and will continue to use my current guy for that. I meant more of being up to date on all the income and expenses, tracking & optimizing everything.
 
Just put your ears down for a bit and find out who your friends and family recommend. And I can tell ya first hand sticker price doesn't mean anything. I have certainly overpaid for accounting and been fortunate enough to underpay for it. Just because one has 10,000sq ft of office doesn't make them anymore qualified than the one operating from the office attached to the back of the house.
