So I get on to my computer here after a fun day of having people shoot pucks at me in the freezing cold weather of NY, and suddenly my IM's are lighting up like the Shock And Awe campaign on Iraq. Most are from friends asking what the hell happened over the weekend, others from newly banned members here who can't wait to see my reaction for what's been said. Well, I didn't read anything, and just deleted the threads and banned the obvious people who were there just to start up, because tons of people on IM's gave me the gist of what is going on here. Apparently, some people are mad at me for lying and doing linkbait. Wow, those are some pretty hefty charges! Why now? Who knows.
Here is my statement for everyone who is debating on making new threads trying to out me, bash me, or just plain start up. GET A FUCKING LIFE. Look at yourselves. You are blaming me for linkbait, and yet, you are kind of doing the same shit here, creating lots of drama, getting lots of people over here to visit and say whatever. Creating way more of a buzz than I could have, and all for the sake of drama. How does this benefit any of you exactly? Aside for entertainment purposes for a select few? Does it increase your wealth? No. Does it increase your connections in the industry? No. Does it make you a better person? No. Then what the hell does it actually do for you aside make you look like a child in front of hundreds of people for a week or two?
Seriously guys. Before and at ASW everything was peachy. Everyone was friends, everything was dandy. Suddenly, I ban one guy who everyone knows I seriously dislike (not to mention I gave him a ton of chances to behave and he just never showed interest for it), and all hell breaks loose that I'm a liar because HE says so? Well, let's see what HE has done to prove this shit. Wait, oh yeah, nothing. He just says it, so it must all be true right?
So some people are saying I lied about the CJ stuff. Others are saying I lied about where I live or what I do, or that I am really a woman dressed up as a nerdy Jewish guy. Alright, maybe I did make up that last one. But let's be honest here, who gives a fuck? If this is really something you care so much about, why don't you share your life story, family life, address and bank statements with us, and then maybe you can talk about mine. I, like everyone else here want to keep a certain amount of information private. Why? Because it's the fucking internet! Who the hell wants everyone knowing every part of eachother? Who wants to know how many women you've fucked or how much candy you sold in school as a kid? No one should be THAT concerned with these fucking personal details, you know why?? BECAUSE IT'S FUCKING PERSONAL!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, this is my forum, I own it, and I do have some rules that even I don't break, but when shit starts hitting the fan over things that are so fucking ridiculous sometimes, even I can't take it.
So here is what I am offering to you guys who want to start shit with me, post negative crap, start rumors, or anything else.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHNG. Get off of my forum, and don't come back.
Will this effect the forum as a whole? Maybe. Maybe it's not a wise decision, but then again maybe it is. In recent months this place has been turning into one big pile of shit from people bashing eachother left and right with nothing more to add to this place. Let's not forget WHY I started WF in the first place. As a place to hang out, let loose, but also share information that every other forum was lacking in. That concept seemed to work pretty well for a while, but since I refused to listen to certain people, and kept others around to do what they please, maybe the quality took a beating for a bit, but that was fine, just so long as everyone was having fun, and things were still working for the most part. Well, that machine has broken down over the last week, and I will not sit by here and watch my work for almost a year disappear because a few disgruntled members think it needs to die out because they didn't get their way.
If you don't want to stay here fine, leave. It's always been an option for you. No one is forcing you to stay. And you may dislike me now, but just remember, if it wasn't for me, you guys wouldn't have met one another, both online and probably in person. People who know me well know that with being my friend has it's benefits. My goal is to have people be successful, which is why when I give people advice online, on the phone or in person I never ask for a fucking dime. Ever. I get tons of emails, IM's and PM's from people thanking me for this place, and I never take credit, I always say "it's not me, it's the community". I'm not trying to play myself off as some savior either, I honestly believe that the people who want to make a change will stay and continue doing so, and the ones that are just here for their own entertainment will leave.
