Heading out to the Big Easy tonight...just wanted to see who else is coming out and double fisting hand grenades with me this year.

All WF members are encouraged to post pictures of boobs in this thread upon their return from a few days of debauchery.

Holla back.

Going to the parades starting tomorrow, probably be at St Charles & Louisiana. Will be on Bourbon Lundi Gras into the early hours of Fat Tuesday, hopefully I'm finally going to catch Zulu and Rex this year. Got some air horns from the Dollar Tree too, going to clean up on beads.

Where are you staying at?

A buddy told me to avoid Zulu. Apparently they are known to throw coconuts?

I'm staying on St. Charles. I get in tomorrow afternoon (leaving at midnight EST tnite from Miami) and headin on up!

Holler at your boy if you want to meet up there and smash a few hand grenades.

Zulu 'throws' coconuts, but they really just hand them out because of the injury possibilities. A few parades have unique throws, like Muses. Muses is all female and they have custom decorated shoes that everyone wants to catch. You can probably sell them for like $50 to someone if you catch one.

And for the large crowds, Fat Tuesday is really late this year, the highs are supposed to be 65-70 on Monday and Tuesday. Its been in the high 70's the last 2 weeks here, so it's going to be perfect. Tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday there are chances of rain, which means the parades will be postponed.

If you want to catch tons of beads, the Garden District or towards Uptown has plenty of emptier spots. Get a good spot in the front and just yell.

If you want to see flashers and not catch beads, Bourbon Street.

If you want to go to jail and not get out until Wednesday, do something stupid and get arrested.

They're early morning parades on Tuesday, they start at 8am. No one will ever get up that early after being out the night before, but they are supposed to be great.

Also, if you venture away from downtown or want to see just one parade, make sure its Endymion. Most of the parades are somewhat similar, but Endymion always has absolutely ridiculous floats. Each tractor pulls 3-4 floats with tons of people. The only problem is getting a good spot. People are already camping out and there are way too many drunk high schoolers towards City Park, from my experience.
