Fact: Iced Earth is the greatest band ever

i was just responding to what that one dude said. I personally love Iced earth. I even like horror show which I think a lot of people bashed.
 


You guys have it all wrong, KISS is the best band ever.

Does Iced Earth have a board game?

I don't know that I would go THAT far :)

When you think "one of the most popular" bands like Priest, Maiden, Metallica, etc. fit that bill, one that even if you haven't HEARd them, you've heard Of them.

Iced Earth is one of the more popular bands among the metal fans still "in the know" I would say. I still miss BArlow though :(
 
You aint kiddin Creation nation, Romeo is also amazing, can anyone tell me off the top of their head who savatages lead is?

Btw Mullet Man, if you think system of a down is the best metal band ever, you need a good kick in the nutz to go along with that mullet.

It depends on what "era" of Savatage you heard/listen to. The original was Criss Oliva who was killed in a car accident years ago. Then they had Alex Skolnick (Testament fame). The guy that has been there the longest but has played roles as both rhythm and lead (rhythm/shared lead when Criss was in the band and lead now) is Chris Caffery. Al Pitrelli also played on one album.

Criss is my fave from them, he had a great style.

Little known (mass media) fact... the Savatage guys make up the majority of the songwriting/performing for Trans Siberian Orchestra!

Dream Theater hasn't done much for me the last few albums (sadly :( )

Their earlier albums are genius though, I love everything up through Awake.

I'm always interested to hear their new stuff though, new one this year!

I'm with you here man. :) That is also my least favourite, but even that one has some awesome songs.

You need to give these songs a second listen:
"Endless Sacrifice"
"Stream of Conciousness"
"Octavarium"
"Panic Attack"
"Never Enough"

They are masterpieces on par with songs from the Images and Words album in my opinion.
Although NOTHING will ever surpass the Images and Words album. It is the best album ever made by anyone. (I believe that is a fact) ;)
I want to be buried with it when I go six feet under.
