Another Banning Spree Here!

Andrew, the other mods and myself at the warriors delete numerous self promotional posts on the WF every single day. The numbers are probably in the hundreds.

That forum has [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]42987 members (as of the time I wrote this) and tens of thousands of onlookers. A few ebook and affiliate promoters tell their own members to go out and sign up to other forums with sigs that promote stuff... and a few of those newbies (seems like a lot since some of those people have thousands of affiliates) think it's ok to do promo's in their posts.

But that's not everyone from the warrior community.

Heck, Clickbank even had a help file up for a while telling it's people to go to various forums (warriors included) an post aff. links in their sigs, even though the TOS of some of those sites clearly stated that aff. links in sigs weren't allowed.

We have the same problems you do and as many other forums out there do.

Yet WF and DP get trashed because of it.

That's why I'm posting here. I'm trying to bring a little balance to an otherwise lopsided discussion.

We don't have a problem with people talking about making money from ebooks online; but using WickedFire as a venue to sell those books, that is a problem. There is more than enough free information on WickedFire now to push people into the six figure range if they want to do the work; repackaged $100 mini-ebooks aren't necessary.

Please, delete my user acct.

You'll be doing me a favor.

Edit: WAIT!

No useful info?

I'm writing a post right now. Hang on...

Paul
I'll await your informational post and then give you a neg or positive rep and decide if your here to promote your products and try to post crap or if your here to become a valuable part of the forum.

But just so you know I'm only a guide, not a moderator or administrator so I don't have any special powers with saving you, I can however tell you how to survive around here.

How did I miss this?!!?

Paul.. IM me on AIM - aojon.

I'd be happy to have you and your cronies on a show. We can debate about all sorts of wonderful topics on why you love the cock and convince stupid people into believing they can make millions buying and selling pointless ebooks.

Hold the phone I'll grab a microphone we gotta get this shit on podcast.

Chuck, I'm not trying to do anything except for stick up for a community I believe in. That's why I'm a mod there.

I'm only tough on the WF when I need to be.

Here, all I am is a guy with a handful of posts trying to be reasonable.

I'm writing a post now that I hope someone here on WickedFire may get something out of. A word, a sentence, it may spark an idea, etc.

It's the best any of us can do on these forums... when you really think about it.

Paul

Why? You'll only sit here and refresh the screen over and over anyway, tough guy. Can't you see that almost everyone here just ignored your cries for attention?

Me and my cronies?

Listen Jon, I can't and won't speak for anyone but myself or the general state of IM as I see it.

Oh bullshit.. If members of ours go to your shitty forum and tell people to come here, yes, delete them. The less fuckfaces from your forum here the better. Better yet, tell me who these people are and I'll ban them here for being covert ebook sympathizers. All ebooks aren't bad.. it's the "make money now" ones that I have a huge issue with, and holy shit, that's 3/4 of your active member base right there!

Don't start throwing your member base numbers at us. We haven't been around for a year yet, and we're already considered one of the top five in for ppc marketing, affiliate marketing, sem, arbitrage, etc. We aren't popular for the things you guys are.. such as... ebooks, scamming other members, trying to start up false joint ventures that will never do shit for anyone requests, newsletters, etc. Sorry, but there is no way I want to be in the same boat as you guys.

Woooo ClickBank told people to spam their links on your forum.. what an honor!! Don't you see it? You guys are their bread and butter for scam ebooks. Without you guys, where would these scammers hang out at and pitch their bullshit stuff to? I hope you guys continue to suck up all of the fools, scammers, and douchebags who think they are going to find the shortcut to a million dollars in a month secret. However we will take the people in touch with reality, and ones that are looking for longterm goals to accomplish. People that don't use one bullshit ebook after another to prey on others for a quick $30.

:repuke:

Alright, lynch mob.

I won't have any part of it.

Bye.

Paul

Typical pussy response that every ebook scammer would say.. when confronted, they can never come up with a reason that explains why they are doing what they are doing, and can also show actual proof that newbies or regular people buying their piece of shit ebooks have actually accomplished what the ebook sales letter promises.

All I see is a cycle.. Someone makes a catchy sales page promising the world for cheap and easy ways to accomplish it. Person falls for it, buys it. Reads it, continues to get hyped, maybe even buys the upsell shit in the ebook. Puts it to the test, sees not so great results, or immediate failure. Is told "keep trying, and buy this other ebook I just made". Buys it, tries everything, continues to fail and lose money, or maybe has very little success to break even but NEVER makes anywhere near what is promised. Start from the beginning... and it never ends until the person is ready to kill himself out of frustration, or loses a shitload of money trying to become a millionaire tomorrow.

You guys are the reason the ebook industry does so well, because you continue to make it seem legitimate. I hope someday soon the whole thing comes crashing down on you guys and you lose everything, because you deserve that. All of you and your cronies do.

it's funny how warrior forum with its ~43k members has 100 active users on its site right now while WF with its ~5k members has 150. heh..

Ok, I came into this community under hostile circumstances and said my piece. If the owner wants to delete my posts here, or leave them up to boost his ego beause he likes to watch the green slime oozing out from under his shoe as he crunches yet another infiltrating ebook insect under his massive weight, so be it. Then I've written the following in vain.

But for anyone interested, and anyone who doesn't know or realize what they have, this may help them.

For all of you in the arbitrage game, or affiliate marketing game, here's what could be another source of revenue for you. The ones who are doing this already will balk and snicker. You may call me a fuckhead, but truthfully, I don't really care.

You know those AdSense ads you place in the sidebar of your blogs, the 120X600 or 160X600 ones?

Yeah, those.

Your blog has a Google PR4+ and that 160X600 space makes you an average of $2 a month or $24 a year.

Why the F* would you settle for that?

Strip those AdSense links off there and sell text links in that space, or at least try to.

Go to TextLinkAds.com , AdBrite.com or a similar service if you have no contacts or other means to contact link clients individually and use their services. Better yet, do the research and groundwork yourself and save the fees the brokers charge.

On a PR4+ site you should be able to sell text links for at least $120+ per year.

Do the math:

$120 X 10 text links = $1,200

Much more than the $24 per year you get from the same space if it were occupied by a 160X600 AdSense block.

Simple, yes. And many of you are making much more than that right now by the same or other means. But some people out there may get something from this.

Oh well, hope this helps someone.

I'll answer questions regarding this post to the best of my ability, if anyone decides to ask.

I won't try to sell you an ebook or anything either.

Paul

LOL,

So, simple as it is what I wrote, tell me it doesn't work.

Come on dude, it's tax time here in Canada where I am, and I'm looking over my financial stuff. In an intelligent, non-confrontational way, tell me that what I wrote is not true, or that it doesn't work.

Come on, bro. Look back at what you wrote. Pretty fucking weak. Ok, so you made an attempt to participate. Good for you. However, your entire reason for being here is confrontational. How are we supposed to react?

Did anyone from here go over to Warrior's forum talking shit? No. You chose to come over here.

And the fact that you jumped on Jon's thread within minutes of it going up only shows that Warrior Forum moderators lurk over here. Don't you guys have anything better to do? Like look over your finances or make millions on the internets?

Either accept Jon's invitation to the show or leave. You've said that you'd do both but reneged both times.

Ask Jon about that one, Chuck.

Too bad his stuff's not still around or you'd see what true forum raping and blatent self promotion really looks like.

Well, that's what I'm getting at Mr Guru.. The fact that it sounds simple, and great on paper, but in reality it doesn't work. You're claiming someone go this route and they'll make $1200/yr instantly just because of the PageRank? As if that is the only deciding factor that advertisers look at? Get off of your guru crackpipe and look at it from a realistic point of view..

A site with a PR4. Great.

How old is the site?
What niche is it in?
What type of traffic is it generating a day?
Is it making more than $1200/yr with Adsense?

There are lots of different variables for a site, and every site is different.. unless you're just referring to the cookie cutter sites you guys sell in 5000 packs for $50. Then maybe I'm wrong because they are all the same damn thing in different colors.

But in reality, if a webmaster takes their PR4 site, pulls off their Adsense ads, and replaces it with AdBrite or TLA because they ARE NOT making more than $1200/YEAR from their site/blog, then what do you think the chances are of them selling out their entire inventory at their asking price when no one is going to be impressed with the site? If the site were popular, it would be making more than $1200 a year, and wouldn't need your tips. But let's be fair and say alright, the site is popular, a PR4 and they sellout the inventory for TLA at $1200/yr, and tack on Adbrite. My opinion is that they would be losing revenue, not making more. Adbrite is great and all, but generally speaking, Adsense pays out a hell of a lot more per click than Adbrite does. Adding TLA is fine for any site to add extra income, but why would you replace something that has a pretty good reputation for making more than their competitors? If anything, replace Adsense with YPN. But then, it would be going against what you are saying..

So no.. your theory is not realistic for the avg webmaster. Sorry. Again, sounds easy as all hell, not time consuming, and simple, but try it on a regular PR4 site, without milking any of your friends or connections to help you, and you'll know what all of the regular people reading your bullshit ebooks go through.

What else do you have for me? Because I can go all night.
