Seriously why is it almost every week some tard posts asking if he should go to college. Why kind of answer are you actually looking for? You have already decided not to go, you are just whining on here to get people to support the decision you already made.

Shit problem for you like the rest of these topics is its split 50/50 with "its a waste of money" and "its good to fuck bitches". So save 30k? or Have the social experience of most peoples life times. You need to grow up and learn to make these choices without asking anonymous people online most of which have already gone to college.

Read the OP. I am asking if anyone has links to solid articles/studies that argue my point of view. I made my decision and don't need it reaffirmed.

Where exactly do you expect to find articles about how not going to college it a good idea?

If you want to pull some sort of anecdotal evidence that is purly situational on how you can succeed without college. Just big up all that shit about how Bill Gates and Steve Jobs both dropped out.
 
Go to college, you'll learn to learn, will learn to relate with others (real life not with avatars on forums), will learn to speak in public (that's a must in an entrepreneur life).

I hear people say this all the time and it really bothers me... how the hell does college teach you how to learn?

I learned more about those three things in high school than I have in college.

As much as that statement may piss you off, imagine how ludicrous the usual WF argument of "college is for employees, not for employers" yadda yadda yadda is.

How many Fortune 500 CEOs etc etc dont have an education?
 
which college you enrolled at? If you going to camden county it will be nothing. Take 3 classes or something a semester.

Everyone is different, but I love learning (weirdo I know). I don't know what will happen in 10 years, so I took classes for a major just in case. Now taking random classes that seem interesting to me. If you don't mind school, it doesn't hurt to take a few classes for a few years just because you can.
 
Seriously bro just try it out. That wont hurt your income if you have stable sources cashflow. College is easy, if you don't like meeting young girls then fuck it live in the office all day.

When I was 18 I thought 3k was a lot for a month. Now that i'm older (5 years older) 3k couldn't support me. Expenses add up quick and forecasting money for the future isn't very smart your not adding inflation. And its fucking easy to spend money when you have it.

Just try it out if you don't meet any worthwhile people or experiences move on. If you really don't want to go to college travel. Best thing you can do, you will learn more about other cultures and people then any school can teach you.
 
Definitely use the "Employees go to college" approach. But back it up with hard evidence, like Bill Gates and Zuck and so on...

THEN

Show her you've got a plan that you are passionate about. It could be a 10 or 20 year plan, but show her that you've got aspirations to be something bigger than a PPC campaign-runner for the rest of your life, no matter how profitable that is.

If you get any lip after that, you get to say: "But going to Uni now will stop me from acheiving my dreams. You don't want to destroy my life's ambition, do you? Just so I can train to be somebody's employee?"

option 2 - stay home


option 3 - stay home, commute to college


option 4 - ask gay WF members for advice

Don't hate on college, it opens doors. If you're able to pay for it, then go. AM may not be around forever.

I used to think the exact way you do.

But, here I am just finishing up my 3rd year of university just so my parents will get off my back.

BTW, do you know anyone in college or know what it is like?

Just because you are enrolled in college, it doesn't mean you actually have to attend.

I have taken a full course load every year. The largest time commitment I've had was 3 days a week for about a total of 5 hours of actual time spent on campus per week.

Choose a liberal arts degree (History, Political Science, etc) spend the least amount of time possible in class and graduate with a degree.

Hell, just bring your laptop to your class, sit there for 30 minutes doing some work on the Internet, look at your phone with a puzzled look, and excuse yourself.

Then, bang chicks....

Oh, and BTW, you will not convince your parents that you know better, especially if they are the "working" type - it's a futile task.

3k a month is NOT enough.

Hell, I'm almost 17 and my expenses in Vegas can be 5k a month(with a family of 5) to barely get by. Be prepared with at least 10k per month for 5 years if you want any backup.
