Dear Brandon,

I am the attorney retained to represent mahselfz in this dmca takedown notice for having posted a picture of me on the interwebz. Said picture was sent to you during sexy time chat and was not meant for the general publix. Besides, that was me 10 years ago and I'm much fatter now.

kthxbye,

Im going to the gun club tonight, possibly buying a new toy. Any reco's on Ak-47's? I already have an HK USP Compact 9mm, Sig Sauer P229 .40 S&W Two-tone with laser grip, and a wonderful little walther p22 with laser site. Looking for a rifle, sub 1k. Possibly putting a scope on it. Ideas?

I have been wanting an AK for awhile now, I havent pulled the trigger because there are so many god damn variations, I would do some research or ask someone who really knows before pulling the trigger (pun intended hehe)

I HATE being left-handed sometimes. I'm still debating whether to pay the extra $200 for a left handed AR-15.

How about an AR-15? If so check out the Colt 6920LE. One can be had for around $1099 at CDNN. They are solid guns! Well worth the extra hundred or so over a RRA, DPMS or Bushmaster. If you are set on the AK check out Atlantic Firearms.

I have a few:

Ruger .22 Rifle
Henry Lever Action .22
Ruger P95 9MM
Walther P22 .22 (extremely accurate)
Ruger Blackhawk 357/38 special
and three 12ga shotguns: 1 over/under (unknown, it's old as fuck and was given to me by my grandfather), one single shot (New England) and one pump (Remington 870)

- In the market for the Glock 26 to carry concealed. :D

Also whats up with your finger on the trigger of your glock in that photo - Planning on firing? :)
This. and the other poster with his on the trigger of the rifle. I am disappoint.

Trigger finger should be kept straight alongside the pistol frame or otherwise outside of the trigger guard until on target and ready to fire.

Accidental discharge is no joke, and it will happen when you least expect it if you are not religiously following the rules of gun safety.
We hoped by this time that the standard rules of safe gunhandling would have become universal throughout the world. They have been arrived at by careful consideration over the years, and they do not need modification or addition. We trust that all the family have them by heart in all languages, but for those who came in late here they are again:

  1. All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
  2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. (For those who insist that this particular gun is unloaded, see Rule 1.)
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target. This is the Golden Rule. Its violation is directly responsible for about 60 percent of inadvertent discharges.
  4. Identify your target, and what is behind it. Never shoot at anything that you have not positively identified.3
Those will do. We need all four and we do not need five. It should not be necessary to belabor this issue, but life is not perfect.
– Jeff Cooper, Commentaries, Volume 11, Number 4.
My stepdad taught me about guns and hunting, and I would have to spend a boring day following him around without a gun to shoot if he caught me violating one of the above 4 rules. I have personally known people that were seriously injured and one was killed because one or more of these were not followed. /preaching

This is an awesome thread, so here is another photo I found of a couple of mine.

I just got my LTC this year. MA is a pain in the ass. Haven't bought anything yet, still researching. I'm looking for something to carry but can't decide. I'm skinny as fuck and dress business casual every day, so not a lot of space to hide anything. And in this state, you're expected to make every effort to completely conceal.

Dan, how do you like that Ruger LCP? I've heard mixed reviews.

Jmizzle: Check out the Kahr PM9 or P9- Both should be MA compliant. The guns are thin and light. Website is Kahr Arms - A leader in technology and innovation

Anyone into antique guns? After beating Red Dead Redemption, I really want to get a working 1873 Winchester.

More so for showing off than home protection, but still, a sexy gun.

Not very good pics. I believe it's a Winchester 1885 Single Shot Winder Musket .22 LR from late teens to early 20s.

True story...

bout 10 yeras ago i walked into my house and I noticed stuff had been moved. Picked up the cordless phone and went into my bedroom closet. Called 911 and told them I had walked in on a burgulary and that I was loading my gun and going to look for him. Took the trig lock off the 12 g screwed on the riot barrel loaded the gun and chambered a 3" round of #4 shot. Searched the house top to bottom, twice. Dude was gone. When I walked back into the living room I felt eyes on me. I looked out the window over my shoulder and the entire Yonkers Police force had me in their sites --heheheh.

Anyway after I let them in the house one of the cops told me it was the luckiest day of my life. Mind you I'd just lost 20K in cash & jewels. I was like wtf? He said 'we have you on tape saying you are Going into your house to chase down an intruder. If you killed him that's at Least manslaughter.'

You can defend yourself by any means necesary if your home But you Can not persue someone that's already in your crib when your not.

At the time it seemed like the thing to do.

And that is why I won't live in a Commie state like that.

Bullshit.

It's a good little gun with a narrow purpose. It's built better and feels nicer than the Kel-tec. I haven't had any problems with mine, but I think the early ones had a recall which I hear Ruger took care of nicely. I had to get on a waiting list, and by the time mine came in Ruger was shipping out the updated version.

I wouldn't want it as my primary carry gun in every situation, especially in a northern climate where winter clothing can possibly cause a .380 to be ineffective. A 9mm or .45 would be better all around.

I was going to recommend the Kahr line also. My wife has a P9, and I wish it were my gun...I really like shooting it, and it is very slim. You should be able to conceal it in nearly any attire.

Knock-down power is definitely a concern with the .380 rounds. The Kahr P9 definitely looks interesting. I guess I was drawn to the relatively inexpensive price on the LCP.

I've also been looking at the Smith and Wesson M&P Compact 9mm.

Keep in mind the M&Pc is not nearly as compact/slender as the Kahr PM9 or P9.If you are considering a gun the size of the M&P9c, check out the Glock 19, Springfield XDM and my favorite the H&K p2000sk (with LEM Trigger)

At the end of the day test everything you like and don't let the salesman try to fit you with something you do not like based on what he likes or "the in thing". Also, do not fall into the debate of which is better -.40, 9mm or .45 ...or which has the best OSS. Buy the largest caliber that you can shoot accurately and feel most comfortable with. Period!

If you need any suggestions, hit me up.
