Muslims behead a 9-year-old boy

Over 12,000 probably killed in car accidents last week. People texting while they drive.. Where is the relative fear and concern?
You're obviously insane.

There are dozens of laws and support groups and outreach groups and millions of dollars daily spent on preventing car accidents. The Car Safety Industry alone is worth Billions of dollars annually.

Where is the relative fear and concern for the group of people who PURPOSEFULLY go out and kill everybody else??

Jeez your logic is flawed...

Dude you are a simplistic moron.
How ironic. This is exactly how you look to those of us who have seen the evil that is islam. You need to wake the fuck up. There is no god damn utopia, the rest of the world IS trying to kill you. (At least the Islamic, for now.)

Its like +half the world pointing out the pure evil of Europeans and Americans over the years and therefore, by the same logic that you use, all of them are eveil.
Before the 1700s, Christians were JUST AS BAD in my book. But they matured. We now are able to stop cutting each other's body parts off for insulting each others' religion.

How about the Muslims? I dare you to insult Mohammad to any of their faces...

"OMG THA TERRORISTS ARE GONNA KILL US!" has been a main topic of discussion for people in local diners to the halls of congress. Few people talk of car crashes unless one happens locally and even then the typical reaction is "that is sad" not "OMG I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE AGAIN!"

Most people riding to the airport are not in fear of a car crash. Yet when they get in the airport enough people are fearful that it becomes normal for the TSA to grope 2 year olds.

Terrorism and Irrational Fear : The Frontal Cortex

Al Qaeda declared war with America not having a single fucking reason apart from some America-is-bad religious bullshit.

That's not true at all. One of the primary reasons cited by OBL for the Sept. 11 attacks was U.S. continued involvement in middle eastern affairs, AKA financial and ideological support for Israel, and in particular their illegal taking of Palestinian land.

Not trying to start a debate here about Israel, but this has been cited over and over by Al-Qaeda insiders, including OBL.

At least you didn't say, "they hate you cause your free." lol. that shit drives me nuts.

Did I? I quit for a reason Catholic church stopped (long time ago) representing values they should represent. Too much involvement in politics and business. Long before all scandals.

Catholic priests are the ones who fucked up, not Catholics in general.

that's my point though. You mention a ton of bad things that a lot of bad people are doing, but it's not the religion as a whole. It's a fringe group of douche bags that have nothing else to live for and are brainwashed at an early age.

1. Conversation is not as important/meaningful as all the laws that HAVE BEEN passed to stop car accidents. -This is seriously flawed thinking, brah. -And you know they would pass more laws if they weren't already seriously infringing on our freedom as it is.

2. The reason people cannot say "OMG I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE AGAIN!" is simply because they have no choice. They have jobs to get to, etc... It's a part of life for this entire continent. In contrast, living near a muslim is a choice they CAN make.

Listing a whole bunch of random, unrelated incidents isn't going to help your case. The only thing all these have in common is they happened to students... Hardly a cause of death.

Pick something like "Drunk Driving" or something specific because we're comparing it to a single religion as a cause of death. (Although it would be interesting to see the difference between Islamic murder and All religious murder... Probably no difference at all...)

I see where you're going with that, but believe me, this is different. Islam is truly Exceptional on this planet.

You need to spend a little time on thereligionofpeace.com, like long enough to see that all the quotes are cited and the entire Koran is there for you to read verse by verse online just DARING for some muslim to refute any words as they are printed on that site... It's legit, stone-cold truth over there, brah, and it will give you fucking nightmares.

OMG... are you fucking serious.

OK, those that did that should be hung. That we all agree on. BUT... what the hell do you guys expect from an anti-Islam website? News about Muslim poetry?

Come the fuck on.

You'll find news about priests banging 10 year olds if you go to an anti-Christian website (just go to Google News and type "priest pedophile" just for fun... enjoy the content!), and you'll find news about Jews planning to take over the world if you go to an anti-Jewish website.

OP, get your daily news from an actual newspaper, and get out of your house a bit. Take a couple months to travel the world to make your own opinion about races/religions. You'll come back a new man. Guaranteed.

Generalizing anyone who is Muslim just makes you a paranoid pussy. Probably never left your cul de sac suburban lifestyle to meet anyone else besides your other white tunnel-visioned corn fed townies. I agree with Avatar33. This whole story comes from an Anti-Islam site....like what do you fucking expect?

Point is: If you generalize, you don't have the mental capacity to debate topics like this anyway, so stick to your fruit loops and xbox.

Taking of Palestinian land WAS legal, as Israel is recognized by most of the countries. 36 countries not recognizing Israel include most of the countries recognized as a terrorist or with serious political problems. I don't say Israel creation was moral or not, just saying it was legal.

Al Qaeda attacked more countries than just US and Israel and is calling for global Jihad. How this is fighting against US and Israel? Are you sure there is no religious background in their activities?

What terrifies me most is the fact (correct me if I'm wrong) that you and few other guys in this thread try to justify objectives of Al Qaeda instead of at least trying to cut off any relation between Muslims and Al Qaeda.

For most of Europeans and Americans Al Qaeda is a piece of shit and nothing else. Anyone having Al Qaeda as a heroes should seek medical advice.

that's my point though. You mention a ton of bad things that a lot of bad people are doing, but it's not the religion as a whole. It's a fringe group of douche bags that have nothing else to live for and are brainwashed at an early age.

I did not say all Muslims are bad. I start my first post in this thread saying "I spoke to a nice Muslim lady yesterday". I know Muslims personally. Some of my neighbors are Muslim. Also some of co-workers. But I feel there is a problem in Muslim community. And I'm talking about day-to-day life not a terrorism. People don't dislike Muslims because a group of Muslims made the attacks. They dislike Muslims for their attitude towards Western world where they often live. For their inability to adapt or compromise. If the relations between West and Muslims were OK we wouldn't have this discussion, don't you think so?

What new laws are you looking for in regards to terrorism? We've had the creation of Homeland Security, the huge military budget keeps going up, Patriot Act, etc..

2. The reason people cannot say "OMG I'M AFRAID TO DRIVE AGAIN!" is simply because they have no choice. They have jobs to get to, etc... It's a part of life for this entire continent. In contrast, living near a muslim is a choice they CAN make.

I've rarely heard of anyone only riding in vehicles when necessary and the reason given was always to do with not having enough money for gas. Millions even choose to own motorcycles.

Listing a whole bunch of random, unrelated incidents isn't going to help your case. The only thing all these have in common is they happened to students... Hardly a cause of death.

The point is that students (who usually don't die of disease or old age) are constantly dieing way more from everyday risks than they are from terrorism, yet most don't live in fear of everyday life.

Pick something like "Drunk Driving" or something specific because we're comparing it to a single religion as a cause of death.

375,000 people drown to death a year (this doesn't include natural disasters)

I can make a site with gruesome details of children getting killed at Disneyland. Maybe I can also find quotes from Disney lawyers making them look like uncaring jerks. None of this on its own changes the actual risks of getting killed at Disney.

Everyone is well aware of the dangers posed by Muslim terrorists. It is hard to go a week without being reminded of it. It's not like it is a little known risk or that little is being done to try to stop it.

What can I say? When you do something big, sometimes you get sued.

Am I the first person in this industry to be sued? I recall several affiliate networks getting sued by social networking sites and the FTC too.

Besides the Myspace lawsuit has been settled and all individual defendants have been dismissed. I am sure you can put two brain cells together and figure out what that means.

That's very interesting, didn't know about that. It's funny, because he was calling me out on moral grounds in another thread. Sounds like his compass is a little out of whack.

Getting sued by Myspace is way better than being a broke nobody like lschmidt who posts on wickedfire all day long and doesn't tip the pizza delivery driver.

Nobody is perfect, but at least I have enough humanity to help my fellow man out by giving them a fat tip when they deliver my pizza.

As far as the topic of the thread goes, I personally know a Muslim dude who I consider to be a good friend. This is why I feel it's not right to pass judgment on someone's religious views. Personally I am agnostic though.

So Eliquid tell me, do you know any Muslims personally?

Can't be born muslim, christian or any other religious belief. It isn't genetic, it is a belief system.

You can be born into a family that subscribes to those beliefs, but that doesn't mean you have to, or that you will subscribe to those same beliefs.

That would be the case with other religion, but not Islam where apostasy is dealt with death by hanging. (i.e: if you were born into a Muslim family you stay in or you die)

Actually, you're right that website is a little biased.

Try faithfreedom.org which actually peels Islam from inside out.

Islam is a religion of hatred.

If you study Muhammed's biography and compare that to the one of Jesus Christ, you'd see how different they both are.

Nice, loving Muslims that we see everyday do not practice Islam.

Say whatever you guys want about that "Biased Hate Site," but the body count and reasons for them are accurate.

Now show me any "Biased Hate Site" for another religion, like christianity, for instance, where the body count is even 1/100th of that.

I dont know when people are going to finally realize that religion causes more problems than good in this world. Guess what people, theres a good chance EVERYONE can be wrong and we are just killing for no reason. Horrible video.

Apples and oranges. The reason people don't fear living in everyday life is because most people have accepted that anything can happen in life. Accidents happen, and most people choose to mitigate their risks by wearing seatbelts, avoiding unsafe practices, etc. Murder, on the other hand, is slightly different, wouldn't you agree?

The difference between students dying randomly (even if fucking 10,000 die a year) is that they are not being MURDERED by religious fanatics. Beheadings are not accidents. Bombings are not accidents. They are acts intended to kill or maim innocent people (unless those "innocent people" took Palestinian land and gave it to Israel).

Go find stats on non-muslims committing terroristic acts, not statistics on people dying in their sleep or getting into car accidents. The topic is not about which way should you be afraid of dying.

I do, and I dont ask if they practice Islam as I never needed to.

In this day and age, if you run across an extremist they will most likely smile and be nice to you while planning to kill hundreds of your co-workers later when the time is called for. Lets not forget there are plenty of groups already within the USA waiting and planning for attacks. They are going to say whatever they need as to not blow their cover.

Im not going to ask every muslim I meet if they practice Islam, Im not going to ask them if they will kill me when the time is right. I cant tell from looking at them if they are friendly or not/Islam or not/etc. Knowing the ones that have something to hide will lie to me anyway, the safer bet for me is to just not get involved.
