This pretty much sums it all up. Evil will always exist. Less of it would be around if everyone would just live on this fricken planet, without needing an imaginary friend to clutch when life isn't going their way.
I think that most religious people are good people, or at least have the desire to be good and live morally. Most of them have not read their Bibles in their entirety, and/or interpret the messages in their own way. The obvious flaws of religion become evident when we see extremists emerge and in the name of their Bibles and God(s) shed a lot of blood. These extremists are the ones who have read their Bibles in their entirety and interpreted them literally! If you put some scientific study into the major religions, you will find a boat load of contradictions in their scriptures not to mention all the irrational and immoral behaviors they promote.

you guys realize that there are millions of WHITE MUSLIMS in the world right? Not every Muslim is a middle easterner with a towel on their head. Seriously paranoid fuckin people here...and for what? I know that arguing about your feelings of how things ought to be is pointless as a kissing contest with a cow, but the fact is that once you are responsible for the life of someone else (in my case it's just a wife, not even a kid) you'll know with certainty that this line of thinking only leads to endangering your loved ones.
If uber-idealistic ppl like you didn't exist, the world would be a much safer place, although uglier, I admit. But I'll take the lives of my loved ones over some pretty paintings any fucking day of the week and kill those that would harm them.

A female can choose to avoid males as much as possible. This would technically make her less likely to be killed or get raped. Most people don't consider living in fear like that to be very rational though.
