google +1 launches tomorrow, looking forward to buying 1000 +1's for like $20 BST



Yea the +1 is gonna land soooo many sites in the sandbox/blacklist instantly. I can't wait to see what happens.
 
they have been beta testing it for a while now, its pretty much their answer to the facebook like button
 
I use chrome incognito browser sometimes and it is the only place I see the +1 option. I am in Atlanta so that may have something to do with it. The only effect I see it have is when I use the same incognito browser without closing, if I selected the +1 for a site in the SERP it pops up higher than it normally would. Not sure if they will roll this out...
 
Actually +1 is much more than just Google's version of the Facebook Like button.

Adwords ads will also have +1 next to them (not sure if this is part of what G is launching tomorrow). This will probably influence ad CTRs.
 
Interesting. I'm guessing this is going to bit more work to game than simply signing up for multiple google accounts with a VPS/Proxy. Since the activity in all these accounts can be monitored by google themselves, it'll be very obvious when compared to the activity in legitimate accounts. For example It'll look pretty odd if all the fake accounts don't have any gmail/reader activity.
 
I believe it will take fucktons of gaccounts to game the system through +1. It may not be possible at all to effect serps for people that aren't somehow connected to these accounts.

If that's the case, the only way a +1 package can be sold in SBT (that isn't a complete ripoff) is for the seller to have POPULAR, INFLUENTIAL gaccounts networked with lots of other people, REAL people out there. -Which of course is hard to prove that they have. Much like proving you have a big email list of real buyers.
 
the +1's only show for people connected to your google accounts. although you can bet te are going to use that data in some fashion.
