Im sitting here with a very tempting download button winking at me on a Warez site for the program "Keyword Elite".
Now i want this software bad (not bad enough to pay for it mind you)...but
i also dont want trojans up my ass... so if anyone can recommend a Warez site to get this software without me losing any sleepworrying about this i would be mildly grateful.... :-)

Keyword Elite needs a valid email address to properly function (address which gets checked against their server every time you start the program).

Even if the program you download uses a valid address - how long do you think it will take them to figure out 1,000 different IP addresses are connecting with the same email account?

First there is a crack for anything that will work for many many years, if there were not I'd be a broke ass with no money because I'd be wasting it on these $300 to $1500 pieces of software, it just takes some time to find some quality trustworthy cracker sites.

First off don't be worried about Warez and viruses or Trojans, simply because over the years they have done an excellent job at cleaning up their servers and an even better job at FUCKING YOU out of FREE DOWNLOADS.

What I mean by this is I doubt you'll actually be able to download it because a good 80% of the stuff on Warez now brings you to a page where you've got to pay a monthly 10 dollar or 5 dollar fee to download all the shit, they are making millions off of it, but for us that want it free that time has changed.

You can still get some good stuff off warez but it will take some time searching through the garbage, why don't you try Torrents Search Engine and see if its on their, then hope you have a bittorrent program to download the files with.

are you proposing to use illegal software downloads? i don't feel you should do be a guide on this forum if you do so, because quite some guys here are dependent on people paying for the software they produce to make a living. ever thought of that?

why does everybody think it is legit to steal software licenses? at the same time you bitch about linkstealers for affiliate commissions, but then again suggest to steal licenses?

if you can't afford it, don't use it. there are enough alternatives in the open source market.

i really think, we should be talking business here, where investments are part of the game, and not shady or better outright illegal activities.

You do have a point. My whole point in dl'ing a few software programs from Warez sites was so I could get a good feel for them before I actually purchased them. I will actually purchase Macromedia Suite this year, as well as another program that I "borrowed" called Dragon Naturally speaking.

The trials are always way too short for me to get a feel for the software and usually come bundled with some bullshit from the company that I just delete anyway. I'm not saying it's right, per se, but that's why I did it. But I won't give out the source of where I got it from. I'm sure anyone can find Warez sites if they want to - if the "MySpace crowd" can them, anyone here can.

well, i am all with "try before you buy", and most of the time people d/l warez and then use it once or twice before not using it again anymore. that doesn't hurt anyone, as this is not really a stolen license as you would most likely have never purchased the copy anyway.

but when you really start to use software commercially, to aid you in your day-to-day business? then i see a problem.
 
the question to ask is:

how much is data on your hard drive worth to you if you were to lose everything

or how damaging would it be if anyone could access your harddrive at will and get all data from it

Good point but we are looking at this from different points of view, no I'm not saying go download some shit that a guy from here or someone like that has, another words the smaller guys trying to make a buck off their program, why bother stealing the licence for it, the price of these types of items are usually pretty cheep and you can afford to pay it.

I'm more or less talking about big industry products here, like Maya 8.0 which runs for $8K US or windows Vista which is $400 bucks off the shelf or some other big time programs, then yeah sure go ahead search for it and download it all you want, of course its at your own risk because it is illigal.

As for me not being a guide if I promote stuff like this, well thats your own choice, everyone has their own opinion but I hope this better clears up what I was talking about, more or less major industries that wont go under because you took their product without paying for it. The little guys or smaller businesses have prices we can all afford, well most of the time.
