USA politicians are Destroying the country.

I, for one, am not at all happy with the direction that the USA is headed.
The politicians are spending Way too much money, destroying the future.
I ASSUME that there are a few other people on this forum who feel the same.
Unfortunately, communicating my viewpoints to all of the Senators and
Congressmen and Governors has been made difficult and time-consuming,
each of them having their own websites; with Forms, and Captchas, etc...
There's no way (that I know of) to simply send an email to them all.

WHO amongst us has come up with a solution to that problem?
I HOPE/Assume that Somebody here has created a way to send a single message
to ALL (selectively?) of the politicians individually.
PLEASE share that with me/us.

You're wasting your time trying that. The only thing the political elite respond to is money(for their campaigns) or press(for their image).

Since I doubt you have millions to fund a candidate, one of the most effective things you can do is start your own "news" site. Attack the politicians through that.

The MOST effective thing you could do is buy one of the established news organizations, NYT being the prize possession, but the others being just as well. Then staff it with your own people, give them a daily or weekly them, and let them run wild.
 
I have a news site and I'm quick to slaughter all local officials online. Also making sure it's very keyword rich so they'll rank when their name is typed in. Doesn't take much to rank for their names.
 
That's great, I'm sure you're doing awesome destroying that ballot initiative to raise property taxes by 1%.

Do something on a national or international basis and you'd actually have something.

True. Sending an email does nothing anyway. I sent an email and got a written letter in the mail from my Congressman. They didn't just mis-spell my last name but got it all wrong. Then they proceeded to tell me that even though I oppose what they are voting on they're still going to vote yes anyway along with some bullshit about how it's good for the country when really it only benefits a select few.

Well i think thats what you should do in US.

Country wide fucking strike. No working, shut everything down.

But of course, half the people aint got the balls to do this..."ohh, i will lose my job...oh...someone else will take my job when i get sacked...blablablabla fuking...bla".

People deserve what they get. No one does fuk all. lol.

The Uk example is great, but you should check out Greece. It's sort of a revolution out there. In UK they were polimen in disguise among the strikers and they applied the "divide and conquer" strategy. People are afraid to lose their job. The sick politicians in US are similar to those in Romania. They all cheat, lie and ripp people off.

BBC News - Anti-cuts march: Tens of thousands at London protest

Just watched this. Pretty impressive to get 250,000 people together. Can't remember the last time a number gathered like this in the US to rally against the guv.
 
^OK, the US is WAY too full of Idiots, it's a well known fact. Let's change Fiver's wording to: "Pretty impressive to get such a large percentage of the national population together."

250k ppl may be a lot of ppl in the UK, but they are just a drop in the bucket of all the fools in this nation. (Which is why we are all so fucked.)

Gee... this post went in a different direction than I intended.

I agree that too many Americans are lazy complainers,
and that all politicians are crooks,
but I disagree with the idea that an email would be ineffective.
That is... IF enough people were to do it.
Who can write a Ubot script to do this?

Doesn't really matter... Republican or Dimocrat (sp)...
they're just two heads of the same snake.
And they do whatever the $ donors tell them to do.

A vote for Ron Paul... would simply be a waste.
Unless there is a measurable Possibility of his actually Winning.
In the end, our only "choice" is to vote for the Lesser of two evils.

Unfortunately, Obama is a terrific speaker.
His words don't match his actions, but he Sounds Great.
And the Reps don't have any viable candidate to beat him.
Sure, the Tea-Partiers are making some waves, but...
Sad to say,... I'll bet $1 that Obama wins 2012.

Candidates all sway to the billions of dollars offered by the corporations. There is no winning with politics as usual anymore. (Unless you are a coporation, of course.)

...But for some stupid-assed, ignorant, self-defeating reason I seem to be the only one on this forum that can see this fact and everyone else wants to go back to fighting between RP and other candidates.
