Sears has something like amazon where 3rd party merchants can hop and use the sears.com platform and sell whatever they want for whatever price they claim so it's not as simple as a price mistake on sears part. And even if it was they wouldn't honor it.
 
best buy made a similar mistake a couple years ago for $10 LCD tv or something like that, they never honored it though.

Yup, Samsung 40 some inch LCD. Gizmodo posted about it. I ordered one and within 48 hours had a letter from bestbuy saying that it was a mistake and that they never charged my CC. Some people did actually report having received the TV though. You just gotta be one of the first lucky ones to notice it while they still have stock that goes out in the next 24 hours before the news breaks.


Bummer.
