NFL team owners approve labor agreement

According to sources, owners voted 31-0 to accept the proposed 10-year collective bargaining agreement, with the Oakland Raiders abstaining. Sources told ESPN.com's John Clayton that the owners have notified the players they would accept this deal contingent on all union matters being resolved next week, and the players' association being reconstituted as a union.

Nope the Eagles will get him when they trade Kolb for a 1st and Dominique Reshard Rodgers-Cromartie. Also the Eagles will sign Burris.

"Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the players do not expect to vote on the owners' CBA proposal on Thursday night.

Free agent FB Heath Evans accuses the owners of "trying to slip" details into the proposal without coming to agreement with the players. Said one NLFPA source, "They will never learn." Players naturally react with competitive fire when backed into a corner, which is the case after the owners' "publicity stunt" Thursday. The players now have until Tuesday to recertify and vote on the CBA. On a positive note, a high-ranking NFLPA official expressed optimism to Profootballtalk that the situation will be resolved."

You mean Burress? I could be wrong but I don't think it's possible because Vick is on the team. Not sure what the situation is with their probations, but I would think they aren't allowed on the same team.

I also don't think the Eagles can afford Vince Young. They only have 13mil under the cap with the new 120mil cap salary. They are going to need a corner and sign some players to long term deals, ie desean jackson.

Money isn't the issue, Young would end up only getting a veterans minimum with whomever he landed with because he is such a fruit cake.
