Thank god football is back. I would go fuckin' nuts if Sportscenter was nothing but baseball, soccer and WNBA highlights. If someone puts together a WF fantasy league, I'm game.
 
Finally its official. Now its time to get ready for a crazy free agency with a BUNCH of rumors and transactions. Sucks that they can't officially sign players till friday, but at least the lockout is lifted for 10 years with no opt-out this time.

As much as I dislike the Eagles, I would love to see Ray Edwards go there on the other side of Trent Cole. Plus he doesn't have to switch to a RE and can stay at LE. The Lions would be a great place for him also, but lets be serious... they aren't a contender yet.
 
I saw one of my boys dominate it over the weekend with sick NFL stuff. If ever there was a time to get on NFL or sports affiliate stuff, now would be the time. I'm sure all the big guys are already way ahead of the curve with this, but sometimes its just the right time, right place, and right connects.
 
why did EA sports have to be jerk offs and push Madden 12 to the end of august instead of dropping it mid august? smh

I was kind of hoping they wouldn't have a season though, so I can focus purely on watching futbol/soccer. Replaced basketball as my favorite sport about 7 years ago and I never looked back! Games year round, games to watch all the time in several different countries, if you are Jonesing for a match.

Best sport in the world.
