I watched it, ad was like "That rocked, the rodriguez part was amazing...the taratino part lagged a LOT, but the payoof in the end kinda made up for it."

After the movie, my friend said..."that Tarantino part was Awesome!!" and at first I thought he was being sarcastic...but then I realized how different everyones opinions are. I am a HORROR guy...my friend is a writer guy. I want to make movies like Planet Terror...and my friend wants to make movies like Death Proof.

I loved Grindhouse in general, but am a little over Tarantinos long drawn out dialog scenes...and does he have to put himself in EVER freakin movie??? Oh, and now he is letting Eli Roth have roles????

Anyway, just goes to show that everyone has their own opinion, and this is what is going to make Grindhouse soo sucessful...everyone likes at least part of it!

Kill WHO ?? lol , i think when it comes to personalities the horror guys would tend to be more programming guys and the tarantino guys would tend to be more copy writing kinda people.
Actually Rodriguez's stuff wasn't so bad , for 3 fucking hours honestly that movie was a steal, it really was. I loved the car chases even more, plus i am a huuuuuuuuuuge kurt Russel fan (blown away with my man tommy lee,stargate) you name it. Its definitely worthy the time and the money.
What other good movies are out there. Is that movie with the chick with the big mouth (hilary swank) in the reaping any good.

I thought that Terror Planet was much more inline with the 60's/70's exploitation theme than Death Proof. Granted Death Proof did have that Revenge theme made famous in the 60's/70's, but it just did not hit the same chord for me.
