Has anybody here actually done anything to contribute to RPs campaign (e-Wise)? I'm just wondering.

I've honestly seen threads for at least the past 2 years talking about doing shit for Ron Paul, but have never really seen anything from the WF community other than threads saying 'Yeah let's do shit for Ron Paul!!!!'.

I definitely support Paul and would support/contribute to any effort made to expose him...I just haven't seen anything yet. Am I missing something?

I think the younger crowd is being hit pretty well, it's the older (and mostly voting) crowd that needs a kick in the ass, and that's not typically done via internet.

I'm developing a libertarian blog/forum - once I work out the design and actual launch it I intend to use the forum to help contribute to Ron Paul's campaign, among other political issues. The idea would be to organize and brainstorm on things we can all do to contribute to his campaign and other important issues. I've also donated to all of his moneybombs so far.

I'd be very interested in hearing what other people are doing to contribute. I know there are a lot of Ron Paul supporters here. I do like the idea of a Ron Paul collective, of sorts, where we could pool IM resources to help get him elected.

So... let's brainstorm?

How about using social media and IM techniques to help his publicity? We could also develop a small network of RP-related sites and use SEO, or even SEO pages for specific issues or other candidates that would share RP's POV on specific issues that might otherwise be unseen to certain audiences?

I donate monies. Actually I just got a campaign letter from Ron Paul 2012 today asking for more. I have no idea how they got my new address. I'll probably still donate more.

anybody doing anything to support FairTax.org? I sent $250 to Ron Paul, then I researched that he has a very slim chance of getting the republican nomination.

If everyone who supported Ron Paul registered Republican, and got 5 people they know to register Republican and vote Ron Paul, he would win the Presidency.

I donate money as well.

I'd start a blog too, perhaps WF could make a Ron Paul blog circuit (or some stupid shit like that). I'm genuinely interested in researching libertarianism further and the founding of the US, and how it applies to fixing our current situation.

Far-fetched as it seems, it'd take something pretty strong to make a TV impact (reaching the older crowd). News stations don't like Ron Paul, and that seriously blows. Even local news papers would help in any city.

What can be done to give RP actual credibility to media outlets?

That's a tough one. So far their coverage of him has been much better than during the 2008 election, but I still think it'll be difficult getting positive media coverage, simply because they view him has radical or in opposition to their beliefs.

I think the best thing for his campaign right now would be for him to win the Iowa straw poll. If he manages to come in first during the straw poll, it will be covered by the media and will give a huge boost to the campaign.

IOWA...yawn

STRAW POLL...yawn

He needs a lot more than that.

i got the most involved i ever did in a political campaign 2 weeks ago... i bought 2 sets of bumper stickers.. the one that says "DON'T STEAL, THE GOVERNMENT HATES COMPETITION" and the other is a RP 2012 sticker.. stuck em on both my vehicles. i'll also try and convince my parents and a few other friends to vote for him.

If the internet does anything, it needs to be a "Get your parent to vote for Ron Paul" campaign.

The anti-war liberal-libertarian-republican internet hippies are sealed.

If you're only going to donate or do shit on the internet, then you aren't really trying.

I participated a lot in the 2008 grassroots campaign. What caused RP to not get further, was that all of the people online dont register Republican in time, and don't vote, and don't get other people to the polls.

The last thing the world needs is another RP blog or forum. If you aren't a registered Republican handing out lit to your neighbors and your local Republican groups, then you're just screwing around.

@Super, if Ron doesn't win or finish second in the Iowa straw poll, he's done. Do you know which state goes second in the Republican primaries? Do you know what Super Tuesday is?

If you don't understand the key events of the election season, and when they occur, what good is your blog going to do?

Thats a really good idea

I dont believe in voting. I think it gives people the false sense of having some sort of say in who is elected president. you really think obama was voted in? LoL. Voting doesnt exist. But Ron Paul is far right, and I like that about him. I wish Jan Brewer would run for president with her immigration policy.

Ron Paul is da man, except it's pretty much impossible for anyone to get elected outside of the two party monopoly (or oligopoly for you language purists)
