Will America Lose AAA Rating? Breaking News

I don't think that's what the rich want. Or, at least, that's not what they should want. Capitalism is powered by consumers, and without a middle class, consumerism breaks down. At the end of it all, we'll all be broke, no?

Except the US only has a little over 300 million people, and "the rich" (ie. huge corporations) don't care about national boundaries. There's strong & vibrant middle classes springing up all over the world they can sell their products to, and markets that are far larger than the US. In the meantime, the US will continue funding wars and nation building, making many obscenely rich, while stripping the US of its resources, and leaving the majority in the dust. As long as US citizens continue needing food, water, shelter, and protection, the large corporations will do just fine.

WE'RE GOING TO FUCKING STOMP THE POOR, THATS WHAT NIGGA!

You're an idiot. Trust me, you're not part of the wealthy elite.

Is it some sort of mystery to other nations that the USA is in debt like a mother fucker? I guess making shit official just makes the reality seem more serious.

Nah, but the lowering means higher interest rates across the board...

We lowered our long-term rating on the U.S. because we believe that the
prolonged controversy over raising the statutory debt ceiling and the related
fiscal policy debate indicate that further near-term progress containing the
growth in public spending, especially on entitlements, or on reaching an
agreement on raising revenues is less likely than we previously assumed and
will remain a contentious and fitful process.

But that's unpossible, uncle Timmy said so. Must have been another Turbo Tax error, not incompetence.

This is all orchestrated by the major banks, and it has been for years. It was silly to believe that the debt ceiling being raised was going to do anything. When are we going to get it? They say, "we need a stimulus", and it put us deeper in debt, and nothing good came out it. They say, "we need a war in Afghanistan", and it put us deeper in debt, and nothing good came out it. Now, they say, "we need a raise on the debt ceiling", and it put us deeper in debt, and nothing good came out it.

I wish everyone would understand that this is robbery, plain and simple.

Please watch the film below
