Roboform still best for keeping passwords?

Went from paid Roboform to free LastPass couple of years ago. Can't remember the last time I manually filled out a form or had to put in a password spread out on many different computers.

Cool that LastPass picked up Xmarks a while back. Free bookmark tracking on all computers too.

Never used Roboform, but no need. I have been using Lastpass for over a year, and it's awesome. Works across browsers and mobile devices, can have as many profiles as you want, and can even set up access to certain groups for outsourcing teams.

RoboForm has been great for me

I've been using it for 8 years now and have never had any problems with it. RoboForm makes it so much easier to browse the web. I can't tell you the last time I had to type my passwords.

I looked at those addons. I'm probably a Firefox fan boy due to being an addon addict but I have to access my stuff across dif browsers.

^^Smells like an ad to me by new one-post member. Didn't Syber Systems cancel your lifetime upgrade contract and make you pay again for the new versions?

I fucking love Roboform, I've only recently started using it through a recommendation on here, but I've no idea how I coped without it.

To those of you saying RoboForm is the best, have you actually tried any of the other options?

I've used Lastpass, Roboform (years ago), and briefly checked out 1password/keepass. I don't see the other options being any more beneficial than Lastpass, which is all in the cloud and can sync across many computers very very easily.

Convince me to switch..

what kind of latest updates were you referring to?

i bought it years ago too, but i'm still getting updates for free (i think).

From 6 to 7 (I think, whatever the latest version update was) is when they substantially redid their software to include mobile/smartphone/blahblah support, some other new things too I think. Problem is the old versions don't work in the newest FF, so they're basically saying use our old shit and stay on an old browser or pay us.

Can you back up your passwords onto a USB stick or something? Just I'm not sure I'd be comfortable knowing I'd be totally screwed if they ever went bankrupt or something.

LastPass is about 4 clicks to export. I use a macro that takes care of it.

definitely a marketing guy for Roboform. Google his SN and roboform. Also "john cohen siber systems"

There's comments from this fag dating back to 2006 singing praises about Roboform.

Protip: if you're going to guerilla market, at least throw some different names out there.

yup, just gotta get the app and sync it.

Thanks! Got it, love it! Figured if Roboform has an app, maybe Teamviewer does too. Sure enough. Fucking amped about that! Love Teamviewer. Use it all the time when away from my machine. Kinda of a PITA controlling a two screen desktop on the iPhone, but it's better than not being able to at all.

What other "must have" apps am I missing?

I would have said teamviewer if you didnt name it already, that app has bailed me out of a couple emergency situations. print n share is pretty cool. (print documents from your phone to your wifi printer)

others:
skype
mint.com
simplesense for adsense
genius scan (use your iphone as a scanner)
epic (azoogle)
neverblue
odesk if you outsource
wififofum for checking closest wifi signals (with radar)

Im probably forgetting some, but these are some of my most frequently used.
