What if we had some kind of exchange, where people can bid for say debt leads, auto leads, and so on?
I imagine it like a stock exchange, with graphs and everything.
You could even just speculate by buying and then selling the leads, given the price rises (or short sell them).

The service and the margin of networks is ridiculous.
They only justify their money by saying yada yada we handle all the shit.
The point is, there wouldn't be any shit, if there was a standardized solution for exchanging leads and everything. This is what they capitalize on, the yada yada is their gold. The fact that there is always a shitstorm coming up between advertiser and publisher gives us he illusion that their role is necessary -- but actually they are the ones who are causing the problems with all their bullshit and greed and lies and intransparency.

It would just be fair, the market is pretty inefficient at the moment,
I mean the communication between buyers and sellers sucks.
You need to know the right people and do lots of networking.
And there is lots of margin lost.

Don't be a faggot now and tell me about obstacles like bad quality leads.
Think about commodity trading, you can grow shitty tomatoes as well and sell them for the market price, or not? Farmers solve such problems so if they can do it, you can do it too.
And what if you get a delivery of cucumbers and when you receive it it's all mouldy? There are common solutions for such common problems, that's not an obstacle at all. Only when you have over-the-counter trading, you eventually will run into a shitstorm. And that's exactly what's happening in this industry at the moment (no common solutions for common problems).

Fuck those networks, they are all homopedos. All of them.
They are greedy bastards, do nothing besides fucking over BOTH sides and keeping a RIDICULOUSLY high margin.

We need a standardized solution, NOT affiliate networks.
Of course this exchange will keep a margin, just like it happens with stocks. Again, there are common solution for everything, affiliate marketing however is 50000 years behind because only beta faggots are in this industry, no real entrepreneurs.

Someone has to come along and step this game up.

While I agree most networks are faggots - you obviously only have limited market knowledge.

Lead exchanges aren't new - they're just not practicle for all business types.

People who send any real volume of leads use private offers instead of aff networks. Who accommodate them like high class whores.

But good luck w this.

I don't really understand the service that networks provide, don't know how/can't go direct, and will run my mouth and look like a 16 y/o who just started pushing zip submits and think that I am the first person to envision this concept of a market exchange for leads.

I don't really get the financial aspects of this industry but am still convinced I know what's up and everyone else is a beta-homo-pedo-uberfag!!!!!11!!11!!

Who would offer credit to help bring liquidity to this market? Do you really think that an advertiser will just agree to buy leads from some unknown source and pay upfront for them?

The current market setup is still evolving and definitely has inefficiencies but you have much to learn about finance and this industry.

yo i got another great idea, what if like you bought a whole bunch of shit in bulk from like the people who like make it and like totally get a lower price fuck middlemen yah nigga

Btw, as someone who has been at a network and worked as an advertiser I can safely say most issues come from affiliates promoting an offer via illegitimate means or using unapproved traffic types/creatives.

Networks exist for a reason. Advertisers want access to affiliate traffic but dont want to handle all the headaches of the affiliate game. Affiliates want to have access to offers and want to get paid. Neither one of the them trusts the other and networks make their money by taking on the risk of loaning money to an advertiser and putting faith in the quality of the traffic their affiliates are sending.

If you have the means I definitely think it makes sense to work directly with an advertiser but networks are around for a reason. Once they cease to provide a valuable service they will cease to exist.

Why couldn't you just get 20 or so internet marketers together to start your own private CPA network? Kind of like the way local investors go in together on strip malls for example.

Man 2: Right now we're proving we don't need corporations. We don't need money. This can become a commune where everyone just helps each other.

Man 1: Yeah, we'll have one guy who like, who like, makes bread. A-and one guy who like, l-looks out for other people's safety.

Stan: You mean like a baker and a cop?

Man 2: No no, can't you imagine a place where people live together and like, provide services for each other in exchange for their services?

Kyle: Yeah, it's called a town.

On the topic of unapproved creatives. I love how advertisers make the worst creatives in the world for a mailer and think they're actually good. I've seen several that can even get a mailer sued under california law, but are compliant under CAN-SPAM. They also seem to think display creatives work great in email (hint they don't). Then when you try to get creatives that will convert approved they take days to weeks to respond back to you and won't give you guide lines on what to follow to make the approval process quick. I also like it when they say use the list name or company name in the from line and you do then flip out, because they don't believe you it's a real company name.

Something else that's funny is when you see an advertiser bitching about a creative being used and then you see what kind of traffic they're willing to accept. There's one bizop I can think of that will take straight illegal traffic (think botnet crap), but threw a fit over legal, but aggressive creative.

Most advertisers have no clue what's going on when it comes to email and should be more willing to work with pubs that can legally produce volume.

You also act like quality traffic can't come from an unapproved creative. No big mailer I know sends the trash the advertisers / networks want you to mail. They all write their own, because if they didn't they would make a fraction of what they make. Only 1 network I can think of has decent creatives for mailers and that would be eli, because he's actually a mailer and understands this.

Good luck with all that.
Frauders out number real affiliates at least 10 to 1 in this industry.

Within days of being live it would drive the lead quality down so low the bidding for leads on the exchanges would be in the pennies if at all.
Then everyone would be like omg we need to hire some people for fraud detection and another to not let these people in the first place. So they'd give up some margin on some of the leads to accommodate that. Then some advertisers would rack up some high bills then cheat the system and not payout so you'd want to hire someone to manage the advertisers and bill collect taking a bit more margin for the bizdev. Then to get rid of those monies owed you'd want the exchange to pay the pubs directly and the advertisers pay the exchange and that would require some margins. Next everyone would be wanting someone to help support them and help them with the campaigns and finding the ads, something that might be called an account manager.

Add a bit more margin for server and platform costs and boom you got yourself yet another run of the mill network to complain about.

Hows this for a solution? Only work with honest and fair networks who do their jobs. Instead you're probably one of those betas that lets yourself get conned by retarded contests and lady boy parties every month instead of building your business the right way, through the right people.

When coming up with business ideas weed is clearly not your friend.

how about fuck affiliate networks and go straight to the advertiser. bitch ass affiliate networks havent done jack shit for me to earn 20% off my paycheck.

"but wait, affiliate networks cover your ass!"

bitch please, you think these 1-3 man networks are gonna cover your ass when shit really goes down? Even the big boys won't cover your ass most of the time.

time for affiliates to man up and demand some worth out of these shit stain networks.

And as far as you network owners are concerned how about you guys put in some effort to prove why your better than any other network. Saying you offer the highest payouts or are the number 1 in this and that is all horse shit. Provide your affiliates with shit they can't get from any other networks. You guys are lucky there hasn't been a REAL marketer turned network owner yet. You guys would all be out of business with all the lame crap you spew.

I've had 1 network go to bat for me and I absolutely love them for it. They'll get my traffic even if it's at a lower payout than someone else.

EDIT:

I just noticed he's banned. lol
