Ok, I have this major fkn pieve which many providers don't give a flying fk about!!!

Sending out backlink reports and receiving orders in to & from G email accounts I think is a VERY SILLY thing to do.

My websites are very important to me financially and by purchasing here I am gaming G and we all know G doesn't look too kindly on that.

If I was in charge of stopping spamming SERPS in G believe me I would have a script that looks for keywords like 'backlinks', 'seo'.. fkn whatever else

They run keyword based ads in G email so how fkn simple do you think it would be to dig out emails from spammers?

FUCK!!

STOP IT!! STOP IT NOW!! You providers that are using G email accounts, for fucks sake... STOP!!!

Use AOL, HOTMAIL, fkn any fkn thing else mail...

The providers I say this to say, no, don't be silly, it's a privacy law G can't look at our emails... WTF!!! Are you fkn daft... G knows EVERY FKN THING U DO!!

Cmon guys, wake up... if you are selling drugs you don't keep the fkn receipts in a filing cabinet in the police station do you?

it's got nothing to do with conspiracy. G run a business and one of the things they fight against is ppl spamming their search results. every 5 minutes updating their algo to get the most 'relevant' (fkn whatever) results.

how much in resources do you think G allocates to these updates and keeping their results 'clean'? i think it would be considerable. probably more than every fkn member of WF all put together makes per year... idk, whatever..

then there's all these geniuses leaving excel fkn spreadsheets laying around for them... fkn genius

it'd take a G programmer about 5 fkn minutes to spit out a block of code to look for these spreadsheets and use the info

either way, even if they don't .. why take the chance? that's the fkn stupid bit... it's possible that G can do it, you can't possibly argue that G doesn't have the capacity to monitor these emails...

so why take the chance?
 
@eliquid - i do worry about getting results.. but i don't want my hard work smashed because G found an excel report with 10k profiles all with my site url in the Hompage link

every single seller and buyer on here is spamming G... surely you can't disagree with that

why on earth would you want records of your money sites and all the spamming backlink details stored with them?
 
I've been thinking about whether Google keeps tabs on that kind of stuff.... I doubt it, but I've been moving stuff away from my Gmail, although it would be way too late for me right now.
 
it's highly likely that they don't... i'm not suggesting that they are or have any proof that they do...

all i'm saying is they can/could if they want/wanted to... and that worries me...
 
fkn hell.......it's spelt fucking!

Although I like to keep as much info from google as possible, I highly doubt they are scanning emails to find people buying links.
 
So what if it's unlikely, the OP's point is true. Why take the fucking chance? Just use a hotmail and don't share on google docs, it's not exactly fucking difficult. So what if you like your fucking gmail account, it's not going to break your goddamn back.

In summary:

Google could do this if it wanted to
You don't know whether they are doing it or not
If they are then using gmail/google docs will damage your income
Therefore, why take the chance.

they don't have to change their algorithm to stop me, just blacklist my domains that they got from following the links in the reports

yours too for that matter....

it's really just about me, it's something that G can easily do if they want to and it would affect everyone...
 
Google has time to look into your gmail inbox.

Google has time to lawyer up and face lawsuits for privacy policy violations.

Google can afford to face media backlash and lose customers left and right for doing things like this.

Yeah right. I bet there's like 900 pedos sending porn to each other via gmail and google ain't gonna do shit.

It's nothing to do with being special, why do they penalize certain sites in the SERPS - you think they're special? If it can be programmed and take effect en masse then I reckon they'll do it. So everyone's fucked, which is what they'd want.
