Natural/healthy sleep aids?

Kava Kava works and you're not too drowsy in the morning but you are still a little bit.

Something that's been working really well for me lately is Magnesium, powder, not pills. ( Pure Essence Labs - Ionic-Fizz Magnesium Plus - Raspberry Lemonade - 342 gm)

It's a natural muscle relaxer so it helps with all sorts of things like relaxing to sleep, chronic pain (due to muscular tension), charlie horses, migranes and IBS.

There is this stuff called ichill. It's in the same bottle as five hour energy and basically does the opposite. Has like valerian and melatonin in it, knocks me on my ass.

4 Benadryls and 3 of these

and call it a day..

Surprisingly, I find that I have a much more productive weekend if I wake up the same time as I do during the week... However I can understand how frustrating it is. I work a standard 9-to-5er and for a long time wanted to tune myself in to wake up earlier and get more out of my day (as opposed to staying up late at night playing whatever new videogame was the flavour of the month).

I consulted with a store here in Australia that specialises in "legal highs" (or lows, in this case) - they put me onto a self-brewed tea mixture of Valerian Root and skullcap which I took an hour before bed. Definitely, definitely worked, and now I can sleep fine without it.

Or, y'know, weed. :P

Are there any side effects to Melatonin?

Super awesome dreams (a good thing imo).

Also, if you use it for a long time you become a tiny bit dependent on it, but only to the point that you might have a bit of difficulty falling asleep for a couple days after stopping--not bad at all, you just miss out on a couple hours of sleep.

Not that popular, glad to see someone tried it.... I bought kava kava, tried like 3 pills and well, the whole things @ my office still. Havent really noticed any relaxation from it. Maybe because I compare it to my klonopin. Do you take the pills or the tea?

I've got some melatonin that I never use. Gonna take some tonight just to see if I have some cool dreams.

didn't really work, slightly more vivid dreams, but feel a bit groggy now. better just to eat cheese for good dreams.

for pill people, promethazine or whatever the name is depending on what country you are in.

I just take a little bit of one and it makes me nice and warm and fuzzy and drowsy, sleep like a champ, and I wake up and feel great the next day. Klonopin usually has me pretty groggy the next morning. Plus, it is completely nonaddictive unlike most fun sleepy time pills out there.

its one of those take for everything pills and thats why it isn't that known in the states other than rappers drinking it with other shit n syrup. stuff even does a good job fighting the cold, its crazy as a just notice the cold itch.

millions of uses and sleep is just one of them.

Lunesta, FTW!

For workaholics that have mind working 24/7. The only thing that works. Haven't tried Ambien, but Lunesta is the best. I know its not natural. But no side effects. Not addicting either. I only take when i really need to knock out. Trust me when I say this was the last resort. Now that I take, wish I knew about it earlier.
