So last year I spent a lot of time catching up on documentaries about the Federal Reserve, the Housing Market, Bilderberg, and all that other good stuff. I found some economists with good track records (like Peter Schiff) and some other good sources of what may happen in the future.

But the one thing I can't figure out is if Alex Jones is truthful or just a hype machine. I'll be honest, I stopped listening to him just cause something about him rubbed me the wrong way. I know there are people that are pretty opinionated about Jones on both sides of the coin. I will definitely give him credit for being able to create buzz for himself and make some good money.

So what do you guys think? Is Alex Jones speaking truth or just out for entertainment?

He's like most people. He honestly believes what he is saying. Whether what he is saying is in point of fact true or not is another story. I follow him and think his overall message is great. He dumbs down a lot of what he knows so that the sheep can actually understand him. I think he is telling the truth to the best of his ability. That doesn't mean that he is always going to be right, but nobody is always right. I think he is doing more good for the world than just about anybody right now.

I don't listen to him much anymore because I don't like how he's always in panic mode and I already know a lot of what he is talking about. But I think his presentation is good for most of the dumbed down sheep and I support him as much as I can. What about him rubbed you the wrong way?

He thinks about what he's saying because he takes the time to read the bills and what not. Most people will think he's nuts because they never want to face the truth about what is happening in this county.

I'm not saying Alex Jones is 100% right because his ideas can get de-railed easily once they are found out, but he's normally more right than he is wrong. So haters are going to hate.

Alternative media FTW.

Yeah I mean I like most of what he says. Good point about dumbing it down to be able to present it to others. I guess that the one thing I have against him is he is framing everything as fear and panic to his audience, which is an effective tactic, but not exactly one I like.

I was big into No Agenda with John C Dvorack and Adam Curry for a while. I liked that they present the same material that Alex Jones does but more in a sarcastic and upbeat way.

All in all, I think the shit's kinda depressing so I've kinda distanced myself from keeping up to date with the day to day news shit and just have been focusing on IM lately.

The reason he is painting is all with fear and shit is because he understands the whole picture so much better than you do.

He is just trying to warn ppl about the crazy shit going down. They are really trying to de-populate the planet. If you were 100% convinced in it, wouldn't you also be acting like him?

I think what happens with most of his listeners is this:
1) You listen, he opens your eyes, but you are skeptical about some things that you think are just too far out there.
2) You go about your life and certain things he said start confirming. You hear something on the media, etc.
3) You listen/watch more, you believe more of what he says.
4) At some point you understand that he is a perfectly logical person trying to get the truth out. He just has crazy energy level. He has 3 or 4hr radio show 6 days a week. He has Nightly News show. He makes documentaries. The guy works a lot. The guy is really passionate about what he is saying.

Now, his shit is more relevant than ever, cause everything that has been planned for years and years is going down in accelerated manner.

Europe is being united even more. WW3 is about to start. Economies in Europe and US are collapsing, while countries are passing laws to strip us from all the freedoms we got.

Watch him, investigate shit for yourself, read/watch/listen to other sources including mainstream and then the dots will start connecting for you.

Joe Rogan is a perfectly logical person open to and interested in conspiracies and such. Check out some of his podcasts or ustream channel if you haven't already.

Jones on the other hand is full of jumping to conclusions and hyperbole. Y2K was gonna kill us all, Bush was to declare martial law and pack us into fema camps, bird flu was to wipe us out, etc.

"The powers that be" have the ability to quickly take out large portions of the population with nukes or by unleashing things much worse than the bird flu. They keep choosing not to do this, though. Maybe this is because population growth fuels economic growth. More people = more power for those in charge.
