Anyone watching the boxing tonight?! Khan reckons after this *victory* he will be set to fight the winner of Mayweather/Pacquiao (expected to fight in May). Khan has looked quite decent recently, but I still can't get over that Breidis Prescott facepalm!! Anyways, predicting a quick KO, but not sure on which side.

I think it's a good fight for Khan at this stage of his career.
I say Amir takes it. Competitive UD, will probably win 8 or so rounds. If anybody can manage to stop it between the two, it will be Amir.

Yeah I was watching the video again the other day, got KTFO. But I guess he needed that, his defence is a lot better and proved he can take hits (like he showed against Maidana).

pfft i wanted patterson to win, but I think kahn got robbed. If they are gonna judge championship matches like that then marquez should of won the pacman fight.
Khan is good but greatness eludes him and at this stage in his career, it will be suprising if he can recover to reach the level of the mayweathers and pacquiaos

Are you kidding? It wasn't even much of a knock down. He kinda fell over when his leg got caught in front of khans and it was late in the round.
The ref took away 2 points from kahn for pushing. Normally a ref will stop the fight and give a warning before even thinking about taking away points. One point being taken away could be considered OK, but getting hit again in the 12th round is just bullshit.
Ideally a boxer would go unbeaten throughout their career (like Rocky Marciano and poss Mayweather), but if they lose then they should at least make up for those losses. Lennox Lewis only lost twice in his career against Mccall and Rahman, but he went back and beat both of those. Amir Khan was destroyed by Prescott and now has the loss against Peterson. If he beats both of these then fair enough, but I can't see that happening. Naseem Hamed was an amazing boxer, but he should have done the same and gone back to conquer Barrera (who Khan actually beat). Just looking for a worthy British champ.

Unbeaten is overrated, and there's too much emphasis in it in boxing. Marciano was undefeated, but his legacy is peanuts compared to Ali and I think only a handful of people can name 5 of his opponents without resorting to Google.
Mayweather's unbeaten streak will still never stack up to the legacy's of Sugar Ray Leonard who constantly fought the very best without question. While I don't think Floyd has openly "ducked" anybody, he sure as hell picks his fights well. This is coming from a big Floyd fan too. But with Ray Leonard, Hagler, Duran, Hearns etc. they'd fucking fight anybody which is what's missing from boxing today.

after watching the last Marquez vs Pacman match up, I don't think Floyd has nothing to worry about. He'll probably retire loss free after that one.
WBA ordered rematch. I bet IBF will probably go the same way. Peterson is looking at Pacquiao next so he can just give away the titles and not take on Khan.
Not sure if it should've ruled as a no-contest but that guy sitting with the judges was clearly doing something and def. handing the scorecard. That with the edit on the scorecard, it looked fishy.
