BBC News - Driverless car: Google awarded US patent for technology
Yeah you may have heard that they were running a few self-driving cars around their little track before, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. They put tons of money into research at different universities across the nation and after filing in May, this week they were officially awarded the patent for this system, and it reveals that they've really thought this shit out well.
So any of you guys want to buy a 2015 Toyota or Audi that can take you from your driveway to times square and even park you without you ever touching the steering wheel?
