I sent a message to godaddy via this form 3 days back. Just got a reply from them.

I mentioned that I'm transferring out my domains and no longer interested in using their services. I think they have sent the following response to all those who messaged them via that form. At-least they did to me. Thought I'd share it here so everyone can know that even little efforts don't go waste.

Thank you for your email. We recently published our position on the Stop
Online Piracy Act (SOPA). You responded, and we want you to know that we
listened. Go Daddy is no longer supporting SOPA.

"Fighting online piracy is of the utmost importance, which is why Go
Daddy has been working to help craft revisions to this legislation - but
we can clearly do better," Warren Adelman, GoDaddy's newly appointed
CEO, said. "It's very important that all Internet stakeholders work
together on this. Getting it right is worth the wait. GoDaddy will
support it when and if the Internet community supports it."

We appreciate your business and your feedback, and hope to continue our
partnership in your online endeavors.

Sincerely,

The Office of the President

The reason why I'm sharing this here is that I want to send a message to fellow gay webmasters that whenever you see someone pulling such shit, make sure to send them a little message. Every little effort counts.

I'm sure your letter didn't mean shit to them. It was the 10,000 domains a day being transferred away from them that got them to "rethink" their position.

I KNOW my email alone didn't mean shit to them :D

I'm just sharing their response to all those who mailed them. I know a LOT OF people must have got this same response from them. They do give a shit when enough people communicate their opinion to them

The real question is whether congress gives a fuck about godaddy's opinion or not.
