Fattys

You know, I've never really understood this whole, "OMG! How do I lose weight?!?!" thing. Quit shoving shit in your mouth, and exercise more. Unless you're planning to become a professional athlete or something, there's not much more to it.

And obviously, instead of ordering Dominos, cook up a nice chicken stir fry filled with veggies or something. Tastes better, and although probably not the absolute healthiest thing you can eat, it's more than good enough for you.

I spent a few months cutting, and I cut more than 15 pounds ask me your questions and I'll point you in the right direction.

I wish it was as easy but it takes working out and changing how you view food in general to be successful. I'm not trying to be a prick, but I know what works and I want to help others if I can. You make it sound easy, but you need to relearn how you eat to be successful. I think I can guild anyone to be successful if they so chose.

Pretty good basic breakdown, but i disagree that one-third of your diet should come from carbs. Maybe for some, but not everyone.

I agree with you, the less carbs the better when your cutting, but the routine in general is to be an average thing. I started and modified this workout to suite my needs, which is why I posted it. Although I think if you follow it strictly, 7 days a week you will lose what he promises, but really you can hit it hard 4 days a week and get the same results with a decent low carb diet.

agreed, it's like everything in life, you can't expect results without the right attitude.

Honestly it's all in your head. Once you get it in and get obsessed with it, you can't let it go. Change the way you cook. Change the way you shop. Change the way you eat. You have to want it badly to make changes. If you don't want it badly, you won't get it. I can't eat out anymore without scrutinizing the place I'm going. I can no longer go to fast food places because their food labels make me sick. Even going to most sit down places (outside of getting a steak) fuck me up, because I want to know badly what is in the food. I just say fuck it, and cook for myself most of the time, it's the only way I know it's done right these days. You can't trust anyone.

I don't think it's so much a question of what to eat, or how to eat. By now, people know how to lose weight... The bitch of it all though is that if you've grown into a habit of eating badly (which is so easy to do in today's society) than it's can be VERY hard to break those habits, that's why you hear it over and over again, weightloss is a lifestyle change... especially if you plan on keeping it off instead of just blowing back up 4 months after you lose it. So much easier said than done.

Gotta agree here. I almost never eat fast food, but every once in a while I'll end up at say KFC. Ever eat at KFC, and a few hours later you're hungry again, and craving some greasy chicken sandwich? They're cunts, I tell ya. Guaranteed they have their chemists on this, to ensure my brain synapses tell me I want greasy chicken a few hours after eating it.

Thankfully, I'm in an environment where it's basically impossible to eat unhealthy. Well, I guess I could, but it'd be a huge pain and inconvenience. That, and I like cooking.

Yeah, I can eat well for 3 months straight and have almost no bad cravings the whole time, but after that first greasy burger my body starts dying for the next hit, lol. It's like freakin drugs man. :stonedsmilie::love-smiley-005:

Losing weight is easy, I started to get a belly after a year of working at home and getting no exercise and eating crap. I ate right for a month and ran 2-3 miles a day and it shit was gone in a month. It's gaining that's always been the real challenge for me. Even with 3-4 protein shakes and 3 full meals and 5 days/wk of weight training I struggle to gain 1-2 pounds a week. Shit is ridiculous.

Depends on a lot of things, including your workout, diet, sleeping patterns, etc. However, based upon what you've said, you don't eat enough. You need at least 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight a day. Don't rely on protein shakes either. I drink two per day and the rest of my protein comes from Chicken, eggs, shrimp, fish, and trail mix.

Yeh, admittedly I struggle to take in enough calories. I eat a lot of chicken, but volume wise I just don't eat a lot. Side note on the shakes though- i just mix the protein powder with 8 oz of water and usually drink that first and it actually makes me more hungry.
