blacks have about the same crime stats as poor whites, eg the murder rate is the same given a certain joblessness rate regardless of race. unfortunately, there are so few non-poor blacks that the correlation with race *appears* valid. if you painted poor white people pink, we'd be having the same conversation about pink people right now ;)

this isn't political correctness or white guilt (my ancestors didn't have slaves, they had land-affixed peasants who were all white), it's data+understanding of statistics.

This thread turned out to be pretty funny. If either of you win your argument, you'll never have your big black penis or magically gain the intelligence to invent something groundbreaking. If you're arguing for semantics then go for it but good job beating on that my race is better than yours dead horse.

it's in the studies referenced by "the new jim crow" by michelle alexander. the studies are from peer-reviewed journals, so the data is legit. there is plenty of other stuff along the same lines; i haven't read sociology research for a long time so i don't remember off the top of my head, but similar data has been there for at least 10 years
