My mom worked 3 jobs since I was 6 years old to keep a roof over our heads.

Dad left before I was born and was never heard from again.

I started selling weed in 5th grade.

Moved up to harder drugs, by 14 I had been to jail (juvi) twice.

Got clean, met a girl that really turned my life around. She also introduced me to affiliate marketing (she was an am) and I'm doing quite well with it now (email marketing).

Finished high school, about to finish college now doing English as a major with a minor in business - 3.8 gpa.

I have lost too many friends in the hood, I lost my brother to drugs and I see so many people who cannot free themselves from the trap that poverty has set. I've seen niggas so impoverished that they literally would do anything for that paper. Anything to ease the pain. And yes most of them are black but I also have white and Latino friends like that.

It's not easy being poor and black/white/whatever in America. God bless ya man but if you ever get rich help those in need.

I dunno, maybe I can pass some words of wisdom to some fellas here. I have made many mistakes in my life. I still do every day. If one person listens it'll be worth it for me.

Honestly though, we all have our own hell to pay. Black people are stuck impoverished with little to no chance of a better life, mexicans are constantly under the gun to think of new ways to prepare the same 8 ingredients, and white people have like ... a thousand different cell phones to choose from.

I'm just telling you guys what I've seen, take it how you want to. Meth is really bad here, in fact a lot of trailer parks, not to stereotype - it's mostly white folks doing it, have gone from bad to complete SHIT in the last 5 years.

Actually sticky it's interesting what you said about Mexicans/Salvadorans because damn those guys have it rough. Did you know some of my homeboys paid $5k just to hop over the border to get a dishwashing job for $3.50 an hour on the down low?

It's the kind of thing that makes me feel bad even if I go out and have a drink at a bar or anything because that same $5 could feed a family here for a day. Seriously.

Like I said man, I'll just tell you what I've observed over the last 30 years:

Most people in jail here are black.

Most blacks are not in jail for violent crimes over here. They are in for selling drugs and stupid crap like that. When I was in juvi though I saw white kids as young as 13 (!!) pledging allegiance to the Aryan nation as if they even knew what that means. And a lot of them had already done some very fucked up stuff like arson, aggravated assault, etc...

I'm not saying all, but that's my :2twocents:
