The day after he was fired I said to my wife, "watch he'll be dead in 2 months". The guy was stripped of the one thing he cared about most and while he did have the health problems, I just think he had nothing left to fight for. Unfortunately it's sad that his legacy will now be marred by this scandal. If he had handled things differently, we may have seen JoePa coaching until he was 90+.

That is INSANE bro, my sister-in-law said THE SAME THING. Wow.

I said 6 months, but yeah same concept. You see it a lot with couples that have been married for 50+ years too. One dies and the other is gone within weeks. He was at Penn State for over 50 years, that shit was his life.

If he would have retired 5 years ago, he would have died 5 years ago.

I thought the same thing and the media not only killed an innocent man but also the legacy of one of the greatest sports figures in history. And why? Because he turned in a pedophile and the school decided it would be better to cover it up

So you don't think he knew about the Pedo his perv buddy was doing years ago huh???

I could be wrong, but what stopped him from taking this to the LEGAL authorities?

Im not saying he couldn't have done more. He should have done more, but the fact is he did turn the guy in. He never 1 time touched that kid. Yet his legacy is that he was the pedo as evidenced by the post above this one

Exactly, like dial 911 but he over-looked it, So how does that align with being an "innocent man"?

He never 1 time touched that kid.
We know he didn't touch them. There were atleast 8 reported victims BTW.
Yet his legacy is that he was the pedo as evidenced by the post above this one
No. The above post pretty much shows that he's seen as "harboring" or protecting his Pedo pal. Which is pretty accurate. The police are 3 numbers away, 9 1 1

If he opened his mouth and reported his pedo, rapist, piece of shit buddy to the cops, he could have saved a bunch of kids a lifetime of pain. He was a great coach, no denying that, but he will be remembered and judged on his decisions as a human being not as a coach. Anyone who chooses to turn a blind eye to the pain and suffering of children deserves exactly what's coming to them.

fuck that pedo harboring fucker

Paterno told his immediate supervisor, Tim Curley, of the incident which is what he was legally supposed to do. This is probably what most people in his situation would do with the limited amount of info he had to go on.

It was Curley who should've gone to the police since it was his responsibility.

You're doing the same thing as the other morons in this country. Blaming Paterno simply because he's the face of Penn State.

no, I'm blaming him for harboring a pedo for 10+ years like he exactly did and like I exactly said. He knowingly employed an assistant coach who repeatedly assaulted minors sexually. Fuck that guy

Oh I didn't see that in the grand jury report? Also, he didn't employ him, Sandusky was operating a charity. Get your facts straight.

LOLWUT??? Nigga please...

TIL as long as you tell one person about anal rape of minors, you've done enough.

Motherfucking Sandusky was raping kids on penn state's god damn campus, in their football facilities, which Joe Paterno was ultimately in charge of.

So again, I will affirmatively state: Fuck Joe Paterno

he was forced out of coaching the FIRST time the allegation came up. . . get your facts straight. JoePa is saying he didn't know that charges were brought against his coach that just retired out of no where( he was accused of this more than once), then he says that McQueer didn't tell him what happened(the second time allegations were brought up), yet reported it, yet didn't know what he was reporting. fucker can burn in hell
