Security Reminder For Everyone (Email & Forum)

Hi all,

My gMail account was hacked last night at 3AM by an IP from Germany.

Tips for you to do now!
1. Use email forwarder like akapost[dot]com for forums, online forms, etc.
2. For forums, Under General Settings or Edit Options: Uncheck the "Allow vCard Download" Because if you want to keep your email address private, do not allow vCard downloads!
3. Use a different password for different forums, use an excel to manage.

And if all the above fails and your gmail account still got hacked into, I hate to do this and hate to say this but you have to change your gmail password !

I've done all of the above.

what about if your msn got hacked? this method works for other user accounts too? i need a real solution please!

man there's lots of haters here, but what u can do is just change your password or contact msn people, they have a adware to delete all the crap.

or the best solution, create a new MSN id.

Tips for you to do now!
1. Use email forwarder like akapost[dot]com for forums, online forms, etc.

So your tip to help people not lose their forum accounts is to use an email forwarder that someone could register your account when it gets deleted and then request your lost password?

I only use email that I control the servers. That + lastpass for autogenning passwords, keeps everything simple.
