dude, I don't think there's a sizzler near my neighborhood, can I get a $65 voucher for Amazon instead? There's some great books on muscle building there I've been dying to get since I can't find a decent site with the content I'm lookin for

I'm a very active member on the BB.com forum. If the only thing you are doing different is allowing people to post adult content you won't grow over a few thousand members. The vast majority of BB.com members are actually interested in working out/fitness (hard to believe, I know). You need to cater to these people.

Here are some ideas I just came up with:
-Contest for free supplements. Set up a system where you can get an extra draw in the contest if you share it on Facebook or Tweet it.
-Write a thread series in each sub-section. For example, Nutrition section can have a 10 Day thread series that are stickied. Day 1: Determine base line calories, Day 2: Budget, etc. Make each day it's own thread. Make it easy for people to follow the program and encourage them to share their results. People love that shit. Do a thread series for each sub-section. Plus BB.com has nothing like that.

Or, you spent $xxx, xxx to tell one guy who told 1500 other twinks and juiceheads about your awesome forum.

I just asked 5 people what they thought "built ourselves in advertising from the ground up" meant, consensus was steroids cause brain damage.

What's your issue with people discussing fitness and wanting to get in shape? Let me guess, you are some obese faggot who sits in front of your computer all day and got made fun of in highschool. stfu about bodybuilding and stick to internet marketing.

You are going to have to do more things that your competition isn't doing.

For one, change the fucking theme. That is god awful. Another thing you could do that might also help generate allure is to keep a section of the site that is purely dedicated to scrape prices and display the websites that are offering the lowest prices for the top supplements in the industry. Call that section 'Price Watch' or something to that effect.

Have you considered a white-labeled product or two to associate with your forum? Having been chiseled out of granite by the hands of God Himself, I know fuck all about Bodybuilding forums. But as a marketer I can say that it seems like you might need some brand identity to differentiate yourself in a saturated market and having actual supplements would help tremendously in that regard. Then your contests and promotional tie-ins would be more effective too.

Make me a fucking mod on that forum (srs).

I am aware brah.

And I've also been banned 3 times from BB.com for various reasons bro.

I am srs.

100%

Im FAWKIN ZEEZ BRAH

The reason we've gotten 1500-1600 users to join in the last 3 days is because our forums are more chill, laid back, without power-tripping mods that are present on BB.com forums. All these users came from there.

Besides that, we're still carving out our niche, but we'll be holding daily contest giveaways, giving away different supplements. Winners will be selected, at random, from their participation in the forums. We've already built the page for this:

Muscle Shred - Sweepstakes | Facebook

We're going to continue rewarding supplements for a long time, and have unique content-writers write unique content. But we need to know how we can sustain it long-term with other methods of promotion (SEO, etc.)---hence this thread.
Really? Your content fucking sucks.

You all haters! I plan to roll out similar forum in UK, forum with relaxed atmosphere. It will be called BuildBigMusclesEatingBigMacs.com and will focus on people who hate gyms and healthy eating but want to have great bodies effortlessly. Half of UK want it. No pressure on building muscles, no stupid nutrition tips.

Fitness, especially with illegal, performance-enhancing drugs, is one of those topics that can't be "discussed" without sounding like a complete douchebag. The more you know...

LOL just because it's a bodybuilding forum you assume everyone uses steroids? Bahahaha you're a dumbass. You sound so jaded by fitness, working out, and probably even healthy eating in general. You think anyone who is in shape does steroids. That's the only way you can justify the fact that they were able to get in shape while you are still a fat piece of shit.

OP specifically talked about allowing steroid discussion on his forum.
