I find all of this so fucking retarded! You would have thought that the "custom designed landing pages for $10" would have been a dead give away.
Fuck I dont know many designers that would even fire up PhotoShop for $10. All you morons that sent him money should punch yourselves in the head right now or have a close friend do it for you for being so naive, that doesnt excuse the fact that he burnt people, but shit man a little common sense goes a long way! It all goes back to that age old saying "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is."

Thanks for chiming in giving us your 2 cents. I don't know what we would have done without it you fuck. When your prices come down to $10, PM me or else I'm not intereseted in your outrageous prices. Your at the wicked fire swap meet where all the DP trolls come to pawn their snake oil. Soon we will all have link directories and sell links, oh wait, that's already happening, my bad.

I'm not saying it was the smartest thing to do, but after a couple of people here said "hey! i got mine!" and "the early versions look good!", unless it is an organized crime orginazation (Landing Page Mafia!), you tend to think maybe he WAS trying to build his business. And yes, $10 could be considered 'too good to be true', but companies just starting out tend to make wild offers to get initial business. Models/actors get free headshots all the time to help apiring photographers.
Personally, I just wanted to see what I would actually get for $10 and the directions "Here is the product I want to promote, and its site. Do whatever you do!"
The fact he refunded us all was great. Scammers don't do that without the law stepping in. I agree something came up or he found out $10 was not enough and he was in over his head and he paniced or something. No hard feelings from me...
... but yes, I will be more cautious in the future...
Ok, youve made a clear statement and to be honest I really dont give a shit. Regardless of what you thought you were really dumb in thinking you were going to get shit for $10, so even though you wasted $10 of your money consider it as a cheap lesson. what the fuck is ten dollars? I realize its the moral of the whole deal and believe me if anyone fucks me out of even one cent I will come looking for you, I wont be posting on some forum, trust me, but that doesnt excuse the fact at hand, there is no true designer on the face of this earth that will actually create a new document and save it for $10 in PS, let alone create a landing page for $10.00.

I was roally screwed just recently that didnt really involve allot of money though it did include about a weeks worth of my fucking time that equates to money, I learned a fucking lesson and moved the fuck on, thats all I want you to do. Move the fuck on quit wasting my time and make some money. Its great someone let us know this guys a fucking stiff, but for christ sakes it reaches a point where it becomes pathetic, you want the guy to participate in this post after he burnt you, fat fucking chance man, keep waisting your time!
I really hope you see my point here, I will give my knowledge, how ever simple it may be, to anyone though this is the kind of shit that really pisses me off! Live and fucking learn the initial post /warning was given now please quit crying and move the fuck on, $10 is really not that much to pay for a very valuable lesson.
